Arizona People

I need to travel to Arizona in the next few weeks. Probably about 4 days for work and then staying for the weekend. The cities I'll have appointments in are Phoenix, Sun City, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Mesa, Tempe, Casa Grande, and Tucson. I was thinking of just basing myself in Phoenix and driving to each area for appointments (I know Tucson and Casa Grande are almost two hours away).

Is Phoenix a good place to visit/stay for a few days - if not any ideas?? What’s the nightlife scene like? I am not into the golf thing so scratch those ideas lol.
