Arimidex / Clomid / Aromatose Inhibitors

Hey guys....

I've read that clomid appears to put some people in an emotional/shitty mindstate when taking it.. does anyone here know why?

I've been feeling pretty down lately (like pissed off that i'm bummed & bummed that i'm pissed off... rinse/repeat) and am 4.5 weeks into my cycle.. I'm not taking clomid but I am taking arimidex (liquidex) 1mg ED

I'm wondering if the problem is that I'm over doing the dosage of adex & supressing too much estrogen and possibly causing the same 'reaction' that some bros experience with clomid...

Going to get my bloodwork done friday so until then it's all speculation but maybe i'm on to something... any input ?

Ya bro that is a lot of anti-e I use .5mgs of arimadex ed for my cycle. Look below at my cycle and this is all I need for anti-e. Although I do take proviron and cabassar also.

What is your cycle then I can help you more?

Here's my cycle

Weeks 1- 16 500mg Test testosterone enanthate
Weeks 1 - 8 600mg Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate - -Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate -
Weeks 1 - 4 50mg Turanabol ED (just finished on sunday)
Weeks 5 - 16 600mg Primobolan - methenolone -
Weeks 9 - 16 60mg Anavar ED
Weeks 1 - 16 2iu gh - growth hormone (somatropin) - - growth hormone (somatropin) - ED
Weeks 1 - 16 100mcg T4 ED

Weeks 1 - 10 .5mg dostinex twice a week
Weeks 1 - 16 1mg Arimidex ED


I'm halfway through week 4 now... progress is fucking great other than the "emo" shit I'm going through...

I'm leaning towards the arimidex dosages... I've run all of these compounds before with no problems... I've always "planned" to run Arimidex - anastrozole - 1mg ed but because I was lazy I really ended up taking 1mg every 2 or 3 days

Now that I'm being very strict and taking 1mg ED i'm turning into a big baby & its the only thing I can think of that might be causing the probs


What do you think.... is it the Arimidex - anastrozole - ?

Oh I've also got some HCG / nolvadex in there at week 6 & 14 to keep the boys in order... but I haven't got that far into the cycle yet

yeah, i've done it higher before... was trying to see what the difference was w/ more Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate - this time (before i ran 500 test & 400 Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate - )

but i'm pretty sure thats not whats causing this as i've had similar problems like this before with test & eq... the only common factors are the test & the arimidex

but i've run test before w/o this issue so i'm leaning towards the adex

just wanna know if anyone else has had "emo" issues due to running too much adex

Arimidex and femara/letrozole are serious drugs with serious issues. Only use if necessary, for as short a period a time as possible.

I think you have hit the nail on the head with your symptoms. good work on finding the solution!!

Clomid causes emotional side effects and mood swings because it acts like estrogen at some receptors and you get symptoms just like PMS.

Armidex on the other hand simply prevents testosterone from aromatizing to estrogen so it can't activate estrogen receptors and cause emotional sides like clomid.

When I was taking 2.5mg/day of letrozole for 30 days to get rid of gyno, I'd have to believe my estrogen was almost nil, and I was mostly apathetic about everything. Didn't get bummed, didn't get excited, just sort of hanging out with no emotion.

Maybe it's one of the androgens in your cycle that's causing the issue?

FIRST: I didn't read all the comments on that page about DEx but it's irrelevant to what bodybuilders should use it for. At a mg a week NONE of those sides are prevelant. And that's really all you should need.

SECOND: Clomid is an estrogen and it will do what estrogens do -- kill libido, lower ejaculate volume, cause letargy, depression and mood swings. So why use it? Because in cases where a guys estro is WAY up, it'll act as an antagonist. Herin lies the problem. How do you know if your e is elevated enough to respond positively to Clomid??? You don't.

This is why Clomid is a crapshoot. It can make you go one way or the other. The only time I can see using Clomid MIGHT be when using HC G which rapidy causes a huge spike in estrogen. Other than that, Dex and several natty supps work much better to prevent sides and restore HPTA.

i've been taking 1mg every day & it blew me away with depressed/emo sides.... i lowered the dosage to .25mg ed now...

man, i'm glad i figured this out

i dont think it was any of the androgenic compounds i'm running because i've run them all before with no problems (shitty cycles w/o adex)

honestly I have 0 problems other than the depression / mood-swings i was having... but now i feel just fine after dropping things to .25mg ed

only side i'm noticing is the water retention in my hands from the GH

Another nasty side effect of too much estrogen suppression is loss of sex-drive.
