Arimedex nolvadex interractions.

Hello PPl,

I finished my first cycle and am now doing PCT, has Nolvadex interractions with Arimedex when taken together for PCT? Firstly is this good for PCT?
I am asking because i good a bad allergia/rash and was wondering if it can be from Nolva or maybe the two taken together?Has anyone any experiences?

Taking Arimidex and Nolva at the same time is a waste of the arimidex. Arimidex is an AI or aromatase inhibitor. It slows the conversion to estrogen.

Nolvadex is a SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator). So it slows the reception of estrogen at the receptor level.

Drop the Arimidex and run the Nolva, along with some HCG, for your PCT.

Here is some info about the possible cause of your rash:

Serious adverse reactions with ARIMIDEX occurring in less than 1 in 10,000 patients, are: 1) skin reactions such as lesions, ulcers, or blisters; 2) allergic reactions with swelling of the face, lips, tongue, and/or throat. This may cause difficulty in swallowing and/or breathing; and 3) changes in blood tests of the liver function, including inflammation of the liver with symptoms that may include a general feeling of not being well, with or without jaundice, liver pain or liver swelling.

Im not sure how much Arimidex you were taking but it is possible to take too much.

Im guessing if you drop it, and just run the Nolva, your rash will clear up.

I was taking Arimedex for PCT 0,5 mg E3D as recommended, and i have taken it during the cylce too and had nu rash , so is it because arimedex and nolva is just too much? the A-dex alone cannot be it, I have taken it 0,5 mg EOD FOR 10 weeks. SO is A-dex/ Nolva for PCT a waste?should I run nolva alone?Can nolva have these rare side effects like rash or swelling of the face too?any experiences?

Ive not heard of rash or swelling from Nolva. It has very limited sides. However, if you developed the rash and swelling after starting to take it, I would suggest stopping it... continue with the adex and see if the rash and swelling go away. If they do, you know u are having some type of reaction to the nolva.

You can take adex alone for PCT, but Id suggest 1 mg a day instead of a half, as it will help you restore natural test production that much faster.

Good - glad to hear it cleared it up... and interesting to learn that it can cause this type of reaction in some people.

Ohh and one more thing, I just wondered why I had 4 weeks post cycle absolutely no libido and was like sedated all the time, and I looked at tamoxifen side effects, and I read about rashes, loss in sexual interest, apathy even impotence and got scared, seems like my case, in some male it doesnt increase testosterone but decreases it, maybe this interest some ppl here, I will never touch nolva again,has anyone had the same sides? Or maybe some ppl here can explain there problems now, attached some interresting article.What are the alternatives for PCT? A-dex alone with HCG is ok ?Or Clomid?

Can someone give me some feedback, shall I continue PCT after 2,5 weeks of NOlva (which I believe didnt work, just did the oposite as postetd above) because 2weeks post cycle I was fine (my Test E cycle was only 9 weeks) and was doing Hcg during cycle and in the week leading up to Pct, my balls were just as big as before, so I Believe that the loss in libido and the lethargy comes from the nolva, I stopped it now after 2, 5 weeks , shall I continue for some time with clomid or shall I just let it be, I am takin tribulus now?

People need to think twice before using Nolvadex/Tamoxifen, if you're interested in your liver and eyes, that is. Not only that, but some studies have shown it actually can increase the incidence of gynecomastia.
