You know, the one who thinks because little Bootsie is all sweet and friendly and wouldn't hurt anyone that you can walk around without him on a leash so he can sniff everything freely. I love dogs, but I hate dog owners.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I'm at the park tonight doing my hill run and even though there is a HUGE off leash area about 300 meters away up a hill where they won't bother anyone it seems like every dog owner is holding the leash in their hands while their dog runs all over the place. With huge signs everywhere of course. A group of older women was doing a walking clinic up the same hill and probably 2-3 times a dog ran right in the middle of them. And of course, if you tell them off they just get all self righteous - "he won't hurt anyone!" - THAT'S NOT THE FUCKING POINT MORON!

I think I'm going to buy some pepper spray and start spraying the owners. Spraying the dog doesn't work because it isn't their fault. Some dog owners have this weird sense of entitlement.
 
Those same idiots want to sue if their dog gets out in the road & gets hit too. If anything they should be fined & have to pay to fix my car and have it detailed.

Other peoples dogs are like other peoples kids, keep them away from me unless I know you or them. Some girl keeps walking her great dane past my house and I find these ENORMOUS shit's down by my sidewalk. I like your idea with the pepper spray, wonder if that also works for rubbing owners face in their dogs shit they forgot to pick up?

The next time it happens follow her home and throw it against her front door. Or just throw it at her.

I only take my dogs' leash off at the huge ass dog park, when they are away from all of the other dogs. Takes about two hours to wrangle them up. If I let them off the leash in a park or neighborhood, I would be chasing dogs all day.

As far as poop, I love that people have such a heart attack over it. Makes me want squat down and drop a big deuce in the middle of their yard, right in front of them.

I went to a party at a college friend's house once. House full of people. I hit the door. The dog snarls immediately. This girl has no other black friends and I'm sure the dog has never been this close to a negro. She tells me he's never bitten anyone AS HE'S BITING ME! Little fugga got me on the wrist.

I live in a mostly white area and work in retail. I often bring my dog to work, and one time she did growl at a black female. She's supersweet to all peeps usually.
Point is she's fucking racist, and to boot SHE'S BLACK!

I shit you not, there are some dogs who are racist and they don't have to be trained that way. I actually owned a Pekinese who was really sweet (to most people, little fucker had small man syndrome when it came to other dogs) except those of color. Little fucker would growl then bite. It was tough because he was so cute that people always wanted to pet him.

I don't know what it is with people, you're sitting there saying, "Don't pet the dog, please," and people keep reaching out to a growling animal. They're thinking, what? Oh, how cute, the little fuzzy is smiling and talking to me ...

Why is it any different if a dog wants to come up and say hello.

Generally speaking most children don't break the skin when they bite you.

I don't understand why some dog owners don't understand that some people have had bad experiences with dogs and they find dogs, of any type, size, temperment, terrifying.

And, long story short, even the nicest dog has been known to bite, and it's never expected and the dog never did anything like that before.

If it's not a leash free zone, you keep your dog leashed, what's the big deal :whatever:

If I'm walking through the park a kid is very unlikely to walk straight across my path, try to sniff me or jump on me and possibly bite me if I'm looking aggressive. Also, there are off leash areas for kids as well. They are called playgrounds.

Don't get me wrong, I love dogs, my sister is a vet. My problem isn't with the dog, it's with the owners who seem to not give a shit about everyone else in the world and have this attitude that everyone else has to follow the rules but them.
