If I do take them it is usually on the weekend like Saturday night or something just for a buzz, I don't like to drink. Not to mention I only take two if I take any at all.

No Pain Killers Unless Pain In Unbearable. For Example Stained A Muscle In Lower Back 3 Months Ago Tool Motrim For A Couple Of Days So I Could Work.

I read some of this macho shit about "pain is weakness leaving the body" and other such posts. I tell you you guys just don't know what pain is. Get cancer that will show you what pain is. I was all macho like that, a kick ass mother fucker. I got cancer and man let me tell you it was an awakening. I was in so much pain I was put on a morphine pump. I could give myself a shot of morphine every two minutes if I wanted. That was the lest amount of time they could get the machine to do. That first day I played a tune with that button and was very thankful for it.

I went through chemo and one of the chemo drugs strips the myelin from your nerves. That is like the insulation of a wire, now they fire pain all the time. I take around 180mg, sometimes more, of mscontin. That's morphine sulfate in a timed release form. The chemo was over three years ago. My doctor says that I will be like this for the rest of my life. I say bull shit!! I train four to six days a week and sometimes twice a day because I still am a kick ass mother fucker!!!

Pain pills can be dangerous if abused, but they have tremendous potential for assisting a BBer to make the most of recovery time.

I don't think that anyone would argue that opiates (WITHOUT THE DAMN tylenol, apap, or Acetaminophen bound into the pill) can do wonders in reaching psyiological goals, including making workout recovery more productive.

The worst thing about pain pills is the supplemental pain relievers they add to them that wreck your liver when you exceed the recommended dosage. This is deadly, and the FDA should be stepping in here to review policy.

Oxycontin my be a terrible drug for addicts and wrecks many lives, but it's safer on the body than the Percocets, Vicodin, Lortabs, etc. that can do more permanent harm.

None of these drugs should be taken with alcohol for several reasons, but the safest drug overall is oxycontin on the body.

There will always be those who are too ignorant or scared to safely employ opiates as an important part of an effective cycle, and you will never convince those people otherwise. They will always have a horror story ready to share about how pain pills wrecked someone's life they knew, and thus, they can never be safely used without losing everything (unless their Dr. gave them their own, then they are perfectly safe and blessed by the Pope Himself).

Certainly dont be one of the unfortunate individuals who progressively abuse the drugs and end up losing the gains they worked so hard to accomplish.

But Many, MANY BBs use pain pills safely, intelligently, and effectively to help them reach their goals and to assist them in reaching those goals more effectively.
good post bro..

I kicked a nasty ass oxycontin/hydrocode/xanax addiction a few years ago.I don't ever want to go through those fucking withdrawals ever again.
