Are my Delts being overtrained???

I recently changed my split about a month ago to put more focus on my arms, im having excellenet results finally by training them hard 2x/week. In this split i train shoulders immediately after back, now im not having any problems strength as my shoulders do not feeel tired after hitting back but it seems like they(delts) are getting smaller. My shoulders are my best muscle genetically, they grow like weeds so this is a first for me, am i overtraining them by working them after back or is it just because my arms are growing its making my delts look a bit smaller? my split is as follows, if anyone has a better way to have 2 arm days , let me know..thanks

day 1 - chest
day 2 - Tri's and Bi's (i know not a good idea they day after chest but my chest workout is all dumbell presses and flyes so i really dont feel it much in triceps during chest)
day 3- legs
day 4 - back , delts ( i put these towards the end because they are my strongest parts)
day 5- off
day 6 - tri's and Bi's
Day 7- oFF
repeat/

It is possible..but how much have your arms grown in 1 month?? Not sure ur able to see that much arm growth to dwarf your delts, gear or not!!! Ill make one suggestion i know my back workout is long and deads really tire me that i possibly could not train another muscle group effectively..why not move your delts to day 3 and train them with legs?

yea, i was considering that, working them with legs. as far as my back being dead tire, right now im not really blasting my back as i have all the thickness and width i want right now (im cutting), the only power movements im doing are chins and reverse grip rows. thats what is confusing me, my shoulder workouts are not lagging at all, infact my military press is increasing in this routine...it honestly might be all in my head.

Damn, how the fuck do you train back after legs???? an objective view would be measure delt measuremnt around your shoulders and measure again in one month, but if your lifts are getting stronger on shoulder then I doubt they are getting smaller IMO

I would think that it probably has to do with you shifting your thought process from your delts being #1 to your arms being #1. Your routine doesn't look like overtraining to me; I'd give it a while longer and see what you think.

doing arms on their own day...and twice a week? isn't that a bit much?

shit, i get better results with my arms just doing heavy compound movements (rows, weighted chins, weighted dips, etc) and a couple of sets of direct arm work once a week. i dont think i ever did arms on their own day, let alone doing them twice a week.

just curious, how many sets are you doing for your arms?

No deads? Glad ur happy with your back..Im not, i can still fit through doorways :chomp: think lord sust is right on only way is to take measurements as well as make sure your weights are increasing..has your delts routine changed at all since you switched your split?

trust me..i have been working out for 5 years and i have tried every method to maximize arm growth and hitting them hard and heavy 2x is the only thing working good for me...as far as sets i do about 9 sets for tris and 9 sets for bi's...my workouts are fast and intense..30 mins or so and im done with both muscles.

wnt2bebeast.....yup no deads...im honestly just trying to look good on the beach this year...my back is plenty thick for my goals at the moment, my routine hasnt changed, i do Military presses,Seated side laterals, Reverse laterals, Front raises every other workout and Dumbell shrugs.
