Are high carbs doses so necessary to bulk ?

A lot of persons say carb are so important to bulk and give it a equal part in the diet with proteins.
personnaly , I tend to gain fat easily of carbs and usually take more proteins in my bulking diet and gains muscles too ...
does anyody have the same approach : I do 45% prot/35% carbs/20%fat
 
your ratios are fine, but its the type of carbs pre and post workout that are most critical.
 
I can gain lean muscle while shedding BF with very little carbs. Everyone recovers from a workout differently.
