Apprentice 3 Discussion Thread

It seems that there is something missing in this Apprentice 3. Either the projects are no longer as exciting as previous two shows or the teams are lacking talent. Just not as exciting to watch any more.

Maybe its just me but i still watch it religiously.

Moving to chat.

What do you guys think so far?

Fucking gay. The Ultimate Fighter is the only reality show worth watching.

The worst that can happen to you in the Apprentice is that a man with a bad hairpiece tells you you are fired.

In UF you lose a fight, get your ass kicked and go home to a cardboard box.

This season of Apprentice seems to focus more on drama rather than on the tasks. They seem to have slipped a few whack-jobs in.

After the last episode, Audrey needed to be fired. It's pretty much a given that if you cry one week, you will be gone the next. John is probably going to be fired, too. I had him picked for winner, but then after this week he got really obnoxious so I don't think he's going to make it. Chris is probably biding time as well - he'll probably be a PM and do a horrid job and be fired.

I've noticed that pretty much every losing team's PM has gotten fired.

One consistency between all the seasons is having a crazy black woman on the team. This year they had two - although only one was _really_ crazy. We had Omarosa, Stacie J, and the one who quit - and the one who was fired. I really hope next season they find a non-crazy black woman.

Soounds real intersting... hope no one breaks a nail.

This show makes me sick (but I watch anyway, just to see how simple it can get). The first season was the best, then it went sharply downhill from there. The projects this season aren't as creative.
Also, the contestants, just like a few of the ones in Ultimate Fighter and some other shows; are absolute underachievers. They have an opportunity of a lifetime yet they argue over and over and over and over and over about the most trivial bullshit. It makes for interesting "reality" TV, but it shows a serious lack of focus and drive.
It does give me hope, though, because if these moronic, pseudo-intellectual, lazy bastards are successful at business then I have at least a chance.

I have to wonder if they are really trying to get the best contestants or the most entertaiing to watch. I would find the best contestants and find that entertaining - Mark Burnett is being a tool.

Exactly. I've had 20 year old fast-food managers that were more professional than some of the Apprentices. They have to have been chosen for their excitement factor. Funny thing is, hardly any of them have a personality either. I know people who find the show interesting because they argue a lot. Maybe that's the attraction.
