LOL,You have a farm right?
he's really sweet. he came over today for a while and played with my dogs and ran around the field. the horses were nearby and tank didn't freak out or anything.
the couple that owns him have 16 acres and no other pets, but their work hours are changing and the dog would be home alone for 12 hours a day. it was originally their oldest daughter's dog, but she's moved out, so they want to find him a good home.

i have two already. somehow, i got suckered into getting another one.
his name is tank.
he's a great dane. and so sweet. 2 years old.
he's awesome. i love his coloring.
my sister just got another dog also, she too has 3.
Its too bad they have one of the worst life expectancies of any breed. They are cool dogs.

if you bathe your dogs, which we do, there's no smell.
I have two cats too, but I have one of those cat liter boxes that sweeps the poop clumps into a receptacle. It's in the laundry room, which has a door that i keep closed. There's a 'doggie door' at the bottom so the cats can go in and out.
we sweep the house every day or two- hard wood floors everywhere.
it's a big house.
but yeah, i wish great danes had longer life spans.
well she has one peke right now who is really old. then she has, hmmm, I dont know what her other dog's breed is, but she's a medium to large size dog (45 lbs or something) and now she getting another peke (2 yrs old) and his name is Brando (love the name).
that is a cool name.
my maltese is like my baby. he just wants to be on my lap.
aparently, duke just wants to be on people's laps too.

my mom would tell me.
she said it doesn't smell like anything.
the only thing that could smell is the literbox, and it's in it's own room with a closed door, near the garage.
wood floors, cathedral ceilings, wood ceilings, wood furniture. wood burning stove. in the middle of the woods.
dude, my house smells like wood.

I like how dane's will put their ass up on the couch and the two front paws are still on the ground. They are almost human like, crazy. But they are also so loving.I know where a rescue is for them out by my old house in the country. They have a bunch of them. I might just go there and check them out.
