anything for energy?

I was wondering if anyone knew of anything that would give me energy during my workout and all day long because im tired 24 ours a day and during workouts sometimes i want to die. I think its from a food digestion problem, but doctors say theres nothing wrong so u know doctors or most of them. I can drink 4 energy drinks and nothin will happen.
 
Sounds like your energy problems are more of a diet/and or overtraining concern.

Fix these problems before you look to supplementation.
 
I dont think its a diet or overtraining its genetics mostly. My dad has the same problem he used to take doctor prescribed drugs but quit and now takes 4 caffeine pills and a small bottle of gensing pills in the morning and then more during the day. Ive been like this since about 5th grade if i remember right. I can sleep for 16 hours straight maybe more everyday and still be tired. I noticed running in the morning did help a little bit but only for about a month. I hardly ever come to the gym with energy and i think this could be hindering my strength ability.

Isent ephedrine supposed to be really bad for?
 
Yeah thats what i was saying i can take 4 of them and they dont really effect me yesterday i took this big bottle of energy pills and all it did was make my head feel like it was on fire and made my stomach hurt.
 
yes and i found that out its not like they do anything to u besides that though not even give u energy i mean all its only gensing

Ergogenics like caffiene, ginseng, ephedrine ARE useful, but you need:

1) To have the proper diet in place, 24-7, and

2) You have to time your intake properly. As in, prior to a workout.

Knowledge is power. Don't expect to find the magic bullet in a supplement.
 
Hey tay, im in the same situation as you bro. Doctors say you are alright. Dad says you have to exercise in the morning, eat a good breakfast, exercise the brain with books, go to sleep everyday at the same time, don't over eat. But i still feel tired all the time and have to force myself to get out of bed. Its really hard to think sometimes always feel like i have watched TV for a long time. Its like a weird tiredness, that i can't concentrate not the kind of concentrate where you are thinking of many things just too tired too concentrate and have a really bad short term memory and have problems recalling facts and remembering words, names, directions, and communicating. Alot of times im really confused and slow when someone tells me something. But then again i have a good memory when it comes to memorizing a definition of a vocabulary word or a phone number, or the order of something and i have a good logic.

I always feel tired all day and just not happy also, yet I like to do things and laugh with friends. I really don't know what my problem is. I could be tired while sitting in a car or standing with my friends or in a classroom, the worst is after a movie in a theater or walking around a mall where there is a lot of people and talking, but i don't want to neccesarily sleep, just tired, hard to explain. Running does help in the morning. Im athletic though and wrestle and really healthy, yet i do have minor stomach problems and gas problems having stomach discomfort sometimes. So the doctor says that im ok. When i sleep less then 7 hours i feel really bad, extremely tired. Its horrible feeling. At night i don't want to go to sleep for some reason, at some point i do, but i make myself go to bed most of the times and it takes me like an hour to fall asleep laying in bed twisting and twirling. I really wish there was something i can do. I am interested in getting neurogenex, i heard that it gives you a very good memory and causes less sleep. That would be perfect for me, still confused about it.
