The Subway something (500?) from Phoenix international raceway, boys and girls. Coverage starts at 8:30 pm Eastern on Fox.

Is that NASCAR?

I may watch the beginning and then the last few laps. I don't know anything about the drivers. I just like to watch the cars and accidents.

You need to catch one of the races at Bristol. That is nothing but wrecks from beginning to end. :worried:

No, I'm not a NASCAR fan, but being in the south you can't help but know about it. ;)

Bristol, VA??

The race in Richmond is in May. A local radio station holds a bus trip from D.C. to the race. They have a big party.

My grandfather loved watching the races when they use to show them on TBS.

I know what you mean about being in the South (yes, Northern VA is part of the South). I didn't start listening to country music and watching the races until I moved here.

This race is in TN, right across the state line from VA I think. They have a day race and night race there. I think they already had the day race.

I had a dream I was a racecar driver last night. Everyone else had NASCARs but I was riding on the back of a dragon. I was in the lead for half of the race, until my dragon saw another dragon sitting in the bleachers and fell in love instantly. He immediately ran up into the stands, which scared quite a few people needless to say, and started sodomizing this other dragon at an alarming rate. Now I would say you might feel bad for the other dragon, but the other dragon was screaming "Florgnoz Geetug Loozuntane" which in dragonese means "FUCK ME IN MY ASS HARDER." By this point I was already down a lap and a half to Kasey Kahne, and by the time he was telling her "Bliznort Yikaedy Vek Nyungtay Reezil," or "Seriously, I'll give you a call tomorrow," They were already waving the checkered flag for Mark Martin. I eventually just got off my dragon and got in my jetpack with Marilyn Monroe and flew to Moscow where this was a parade in progress waiting on my arrival to celebrate my world Chutes & Ladders championship I had just defended the week earlier in Branson, Missouri.

Live long and prosper.

What did you guys think? I was hoping for a caution cos I was afraid Tony Stewart was going to run out of gas, but it worked out well (he finished 2nd).

Fairly good race. Lots of crashes early, lots of drama late.

I watched the whole race, had some friends over, ate some pizza, and had some other junk food. The race ended up being a pretty good race, you didnt know who was going to run out of gas and who would make it. Plus, Im in a fantasy Nascar league, you start 3 drivers and go head to head with one of the other teams. None of my drivers wrecked and all 3 finished in the top 8, so I ended up with the high score. It was a good time.

LOL!

I mean the NASCAR race. You know, the kind where cars actually pass each other on the track?

I meant the race where there are right turns as well as left.
