I may watch the beginning and then the last few laps. I don't know anything about the drivers. I just like to watch the cars and accidents.

No, I'm not a NASCAR fan, but being in the south you can't help but know about it.![]()

The race in Richmond is in May. A local radio station holds a bus trip from D.C. to the race. They have a big party.
My grandfather loved watching the races when they use to show them on TBS.
I know what you mean about being in the South (yes, Northern VA is part of the South). I didn't start listening to country music and watching the races until I moved here.

I mean the NASCAR race. You know, the kind where cars actually pass each other on the track?

The race ended up being a pretty good race, you didnt know who was going to run out of gas and who would make it. Plus, Im in a fantasy Nascar league, you start 3 drivers and go head to head with one of the other teams. None of my drivers wrecked and all 3 finished in the top 8, so I ended up with the high score. It was a good time.
