Anyone Try Valerian Root?

I haven't had a good night sleep in a couple weeks.

Bought some valerian root at GNC today and going to try it tonight.

Anyone have any experience with it?

One point, valerian is one of those funny herbs that has a paradoxical effect on about 1/4 of the population. I take the stuff and it's like I've had a cup of coffee.

diphenhydramine HCI has no sedating effect on me at all and it gives me insane restless leg syndrome for hours, whereas diphenhydramine citrate almost made me fall asleep standing up one time.

Only products you'll find with it are pain/sedation combos like Advil PM. I've read comments on the net from other people that they find it more potent as well.
