Any tips? Parrot - Cokatiels - Conures - that bird from sons of anarchy.

I wanna polly wanna cracka type, do tricks and shit but also not make tons of noise. Should I also get one as a baby? I'm learning towards a Green Check Conure or a Parrotlet.

All Birds are great anything from cockatail and up is smart

They all need alot of Love and affection

they are like women if you dont give them that they get a case of the crazies

Be a responsible owner

no they go nuts

you have to be touchy feely an give them real love, theys pissed when you give them fake love. ( they Know when your just placating them)

if things go right Birds can be the best addition, waaaaaayyy better then cats, and up there with Dogs

All varieties of parrots are noisy at times and pretty much need constant attention.....unless you get a pair, in that case though you wont get as strong a bond with the bird yourself...
Getting a baby or young bird is the best idea.

the only inconvenient thing i ever had to do was jump into a freezing lake to save em

James D my bird does not need constant attention, it just need REAL attention

when something knows you care it knows it.......

My CIO has an African Gray that lives in our office. When she's gone for the day or at her condo in FL, then I get Sydney. She does like a little attention, and when I'm on the phone or out of my office (down the hall, etc) she makes a shit ton of noise. Otherwise she just kind of chills - except when she takes a bath in her tiny waterdish. Water everywhere. She's fun though.

They do need lots of affection and if they are stressed or lonely they may start to pluck their own feather´s :( my parents used to own 3 parrots and 2 toucans.... eventhough their damn cage was bigger than my freaking room it was very sad to cage them... isn´t it illegal to own them in the US? here you can get jail or fine for that, specially the young ones...

what? you know that's a silly question. Birds aren't hung. So I guess I would have to say no, he's not hung like a parrot.

birds are great, can be noisy & messy, that's with any pet though. Every pet has pros & cons. They are worth it for their love, company, & companionship.

When we were out of town, my father came over to take care of our pets. When he opened the door, 3 ferrets were running around, and our umbrella cockatoo was flying around. Guess everyone decided to play when we were away. Not having much experience with birds/ferrets,he managed to get everyone put up safely. Although I bet it was pretty funny to watch the circus...
