I'm in the same boat as drsketch. Been a programmer since 1999 during the Y2K and .com bubble. I'm sick of working like a dog to make someone else rich.
I'm doing some personal training on the side and working on forming a wellness company.
I think the only way for you is to work for yourself somehow. You seem to get very annoyed with incompetence like myself and as long as you work in some way shape or form for someone else, there will be someone up the chain or outside of your control making your life difficult and driving you mad.
At least this is the conclusion i've come to.
I am however thankful guys like pdaddy are working hard in healthcare. You forget how important these guys are until your ass is in the emergency room or a loved one is in surgery.
