Anyone know the diffrence between "common core" and compulsory?

The qualification itself is a Bachelor in Commerce........and you are doing one of several options (in your case Marketing). The courses that everybody who is completing a Bachelor in Commerce do are called common core courses. Those that are specific to your option appear to be called compulsory courses.

The compulsory courses are the ones that differ between options.

Okay, so that means if "Mathematical methods I and II" is part of the common core i have to earn those credits in order to get the degree?

Thats right..........in fact most of your credits come from the common core (91 out of 112 if I remember correctly).
