every company has random testing. its a legal disclaimer. i work for the largest drug testing supply co. in the eastern us, believe me noplace does random testing. in the last 10 years ive had to process only 4 drug tests that were not pre-employment tests., and all 4 involved drug dealers who were arrested at their places of employment.
relax bro. nothing to worry about

belive me they random test a big bus pulls up to the jobsite n they take maybe 50 out of the 100 workers n wont let them work until they piss i 2 took last night i dont take them often at all so u really think its a weeek

Diazepam is metabolised via oxidative pathways in the liver via the cytochrome P450 enzyme system. It has a biphasic half-life of 1-2 and 2-5 days, and has several pharmacologically active metabolites. The main active metabolite of diazepam is desmethyldiazepam (also known as nordazepam or nordiazepam). Diazepam's other active metabolites include temazepam and oxazepam. These metabolites are conjugated with glucuronide, and are excreted primarily in the urine. Because of these active metabolites, the serum values of diazepam alone are not useful in predicting the effects of the drug.

If you're looking for more specific information about the drug's properties and mean elimination times, I would recommend using the search engine on a drug board like www.bluelight.ru.

If I'm not wrong. They would specifically have to test for valium for you to test positive and chances are that they are testing for illegal drugs not controlled substances.

That's the way it used to be anyhow.

Valium is a benzodiazepine or derivative thereof. If there is a test for benzos, this or it's active metabolites would test positive. I don't know if there's a cheap and efficient way to test for benzos, though.

They do check for abuse of controlled drugs. Before you test they will ask what you are takeing and if you have a prescrip for it, and if you dont it better not be in your system.

Not every company does random testing. I have worked at several different hospitals and not one of them did a random test. Only a prehire. in fact every HR meeting i went to for orientation stated "We only tet you once"

These are or were nationally known "chains" of hospitals
