Anyone know anything about radar detectors??

I'm in the market for one, and I need the best of the best. i have a lead foot like no other and do a lot of highway driving. So far I'm rather good at looking ahead and detecting traps or brake lights from other drivers. i also drop my speed around blind spots, this so far has allowed me to go undetected for a couple years now but I know my luck is bound to run out.

Radar detection equipment alone won't save you....you need laser scrambling equipment too.

Apparently, the Escort 'Shifter' laser deflector is interfaceable with the Escort 'Passport' radar detector.

Yeh you need some type of laser equipment also. I was talking with an ex cop and I was asking him about the differences between radar and laser. With radar you can turn it on and off so he can have it shut off until he sees u which means a radar detector is useless. Also with radar it picks up the biggest object, for example not to long ago I was doing 90 in a 65 and passed a cop but I was also passing an 18 wheeler and his gun caught the 18 wheeler instead of me. Now with laser that shit is spot on they can gun you from a very far distance with great accuracy.

I have heard that. I don't have one though. I do have a Cobra kind. Not the best ($150) but decent.

Besides, I speed all the time hoping to be pulled over so I can offer sexual favors in exchange for not getting a ticket.
