Anyone in here had @nus surgery?

My freaking anus kills me every year at this time. If I get any kind of cold, it develops into a month-long thing & @nus infection. Doc says that from a deviated rectum (bout 10 yrs ago), there are cavities in my @nus & I could have surgery, or just keep dealing with it. Anyone here had the surgery? Some say it is not worth it & that they still have complications after surgery. Advice ??
