I do and think it's pretty good. I missed this week's episode because I forgot to change my VCR's clock and ended up taping Gilmore Girls. So could someone till me what happened this week on Smallville and was it good?
 
I've been watching the show too. And I missed this weeks episode also. But so far it seems pretty good. A new take on Superman, who was one of my favorite's. It does have a good bit of Teen Angst thrown in there though. But I guess you can't have a show with high school age people and not have the Teen Angst
 
Also you can't have a show where the teens are played by teens but I'm used to that now. I like the show but there's no way the guy who plays Clark could pass for 15.
 
Isn't he supposed to be a freshman in high school? :FRlol: He's like 6'3". And all his friends are supposed to be freshmen too. I guess we'll accept anything after Beverly Hill 90210 (yes I watched that. It came on my freshman year of high school).
 
Ya I like it but they are in need of some hot chicks in it---The little dark haired chix is cute but thats about it. And supermans father (Bo) is a pussy in this. Lex is the coolest fucker in there.

I watched Roswell last year and got into it but since in moved to upn--I just caught the first show and thought it sucked. Smallville as so much more potential.
 
damn, i thought i was the only one that liked it. at least now i dont feel like such a dork. i to missed this weeks episode.
 
Hey Show, I watched it for the first time last night. I'm usually in the gym when its on but I was really impressed with how interesting it was. That Gillmore Girls show was pretty good too.
 
BTW, that guy that plays Clark Kent, is it just me or are his eyes weirded out big time? Could just be color contacts I suppose.
 
Yeah it's a really good show. Most people I know who've seen it like it. I'm a superhero fan so I had high hope and wasn't really disappointed.

Wynn: I think she's 19. That's legal in my book!
 
Superman was my favorite as a kid. I thought this show was a bad idea at first. But now, I actually enjoy it. Unfortunately, like everyone else, I missed this week as well.

I like how they put the show together. I think they're doing a good job at showing how Clark is trying to adapt to his powers. I wonder how long they'll be able to come up with interesting plots/bad guys for him to fight.

And one other thing... some of the stunts on that show are awesome. Like when Lex runs down Clark on the bridge, and smashes him through the guard rail and everything. Shit, that was awesome lookin'.

The fights are done really well.
 
In this weeks episode a bunch of football players got caught cheating and kicked off the team, so the coach asked Clark to join. His father didn't approve but he joined anyways. Then it turns out that the coach was the one who helped the players cheat on a test. It also comes to light that the coach as the ability to create fire (a result of the kryptonite). The coach goes around scaring everyone into not talking, Clark confronts the coach and they fight. In the end the coach bursts into flames (they don't show the body, so it was left open). Clark then leaves the football team. Oh, and Lana quits being a cheerleader and gets a part time job.

Thank you very much malhavoc. Even on usenet people talked about the episode but no one gave a good run down of what happened. Most did say this weeks one wasn't that good, but the promos for next week's looked really good. What do you think? This sounded like the worst one so farto me.

My question is everyone that Clark fights gonna die or come down with a case of amnesia so they won't be able to tell anyone Clark has super powers.

I was wondering about the plot stuff like that too. He just needs to wear glasses now so he can take them off and no one will recognize him.
 
I don't hink that anyone really notices when Clark does something extreaordinary. Remember how fast he is moving, the human eye can't pick it up. Wouldn't it be awesome if they had Hal Jordon visit Smallville? Green Lantern is my favorite DC hero, besides Firestorm.
 
Most of the people that he does fight will most likely have a power of their own. So if they expose Clark they will be exposing themselves as well.
 
Speaking of super heroes, did you go as Venom this year show?
I havn't watched this show yet, I think its on at the same time Buffy is and I watch Buffy lol
 
Wynn: I downloaded #3 already. I didn't both with 1 or 2 since I have them on tape but they are both there too.

Austin: Nah. Just bought I Spidey outfilt. It was ok. But maybe next year. My HS reunion in this year and I really wanny bulk up for it. I'd like to be a really solid 210-215 for it. I'll 5'8 1/2" for those wondering.
 
Im stealing that idea from you next year if Im physically up to it lol. I need to be at least 225 @ 8% to pull it off, two cycles should do it. If im not satisfied, Im gonna go as Guile from Street Fighter. I was the Grim Reaper this year cause it was last minute
 
I missed the first episode... I'm trying to download it along with Star Trek: The Next Generation Season One. =)
