i have an older bro and a younger sis, and it seems that i always get treated like shit by parents; meaning i have to do more and to get the same amount of appreciation they get for doing jack shit.

I don't ask for the things that my brother and sister ask for, therefore I don't get the same....I suspect that if I actually asked for things, I would get them. But I don't want my mother in my business and if I accepted things from her, she would feel justified in being in my business....But I'm 30 years old, so my perspective might be a bit different from yours.

I got an older step-sis, and a younger step-sis who live with me. My older brother lives with my mom. So I get a dose of middle child treatment, and some of the younger child treatment.

My mom still treats me like I'm 8, and is naive, not sure if it's intentional, about who I am. Thinks I'm a non-drinking, virgin, who is not capable of making my own decisions. She is way off the mark.

thanks, i feel the same way about excepting things like money~however i work 3x harder to get the same amount or respect and, its starting to really hit close to home lately.

i just get pissed sometimes because they are extrememly naive and only believe the things they want to hear, the rest of it, is either scattered or ignored. Its pretty sad when you own parents dont even know you.

Not only this but they discourage my BB goals too, what up with that?: My mom says i look discusting and cant even look at me unconditional love? fuck no!

Maybe if i ate mcdonald everyday and slept in till 3:00pm instead of gettting up at 5:00 to do cardio...........I should of stayed at MY home in TO where i belong.
