Anyone here know about legal hormone therapy?

Hi all,

I'm 35 soon to be 36 and after a 5 year lay off will be getting back into working out seriously.

I did a few cycles in 2001/2002.

My last cycle was Testoviron-Depot 250 mg/ml;Schering when I was living in Thailand. I reacted well to it. I think I did 500 a week.

The reason I'm looking into test again is that I had testicular cancer when I was a kid so I have 1 ball and went through heavy chemo.

I've tried to start working out a few times, but don't seem to have the agressive drive I used to. I plan to get my test levels tested, but have a feeling they will be lower than average.

Does anyone know what the legal route is like? It seems a lot of hassle for very low levels of test, but it is legal.

Also, are the saliva test as accurate as the blood tests? I was thinking of using this site to order a test kit:

http://www.johnleemd.com/store/prod_stest.html

My goals are fairly easy to reach. I'm 5'10" and 212lbs right now. Way too much fat. I do martial arts and just don't seem to recover like I used to.

Guess I just want a boost to my test levels for overall well being. :)

I think a few low level cycles a year will just help me counter my aging and having 1 ball.

I like powerlifting, so size isn't the primary goal here..just increased strength and recovery time.

Opinions much appreciated...

Thanks.

No one care to chime in?

Well, I got the saliva test kit today. I know people are on the edge of their seats wanting to know my test levels. LOL. I'll post when I get the results.

You really need to check out the Andropause Forum:

Really your best bet would be consulting with an anti-aging doc ... I do have to say that I'm curious of what the results of a hormonal salivary test vs. a blood test would be.

Thanks for the links, Anthony.

Well, I got the test results today.

According to saliva test I am above normal at 216 pg/ml

There was a paper with it that stated:

Testosterone is high, indicating topical testosterone supplementation. A young male at peak production in his 20's normally produces about 4-5mg of test daily.and salivary levels range from 100-200 pg/ml.

I have a feeling it's mainly stress from work as I have gotten to the gym the last 2 weeks and get good results.

I may do a full 'wellness' profile via blood when I can the money.

In the meantime, I will concentrate on getting to the gym regularly and keeping a clean diet. :)
