excellent post! I agree with you 100% Im sending Karma your way. I used to be 220lbs and couldn't even walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath. Im 180 now and in 10 times better shape. Those were the days I thought being bigger would be better, wrong! I need to be in excellent condition, one day I want to be in the Emergency Response Unit. Why is everyone so obsessed with being a useless overmuscular 250 pounder that can't even move, w/o getting tired. I can see if you need to put the weight on for football, rugby, boxing or other sport. But for cosmetic purposes, why bother? I go to the track and see this huge 260 or 270 pound monster walking the track and just laugh, i run 3 to 5 miles daily, this guy probably can't even run 50m. Sorry if i've offended anyone, I just don't get it. Chicks definitely don't like freaky sized guys, atleast not the ones i've dated or talked to about bodybuilding, they think it's gross.

cman, I agree with you to an extent. However you can be both big and have endurance if you train properly. I'm 250 and can run 3 miles no problem but that's because I do run. Too many guys sacrifice flexibilty, speed and cardiovascular endurance for the sake of saving themselves for the weights, they're the stereotypical "musclebound" bodybuilder. On the other hand many people cross train and have plenty of size and strength as well as athleticism. It all depends on your goals and priorities.

It's funny that you guys say all this, I mean sometimes we don't really know how lucky we are. Look at Afghanistan where civilians are starving and barely have anything to eat and here we are ramming juice in our ass worrying about how big we are. Some people worry if they're going to have enought to eat the next day. Sometimes we take life for granted.

Which reminds me...st8, how is your cycle going anyway?

wassup Almighty, well im into my second week of anavar, and about to throw in some winstrol hopefully by the end of the weekend. Bro things look good, i have a boost in the gym (nothing incredibly powerful) but good enough, and i don't know if its the drug or my mind but my bench went up 15 lbs in two weeks. i know that my mind and the fact that im eating better contributed to it. This summer i was just trying to get big, not too powerful, but now i don't give a fuck if i get a litte fat, just want to eat and get bigger/stronger. But damn, after this weekend i got to get my act together...hmm...20 beers...sweet, sweet beer

Hardasrock, and your point would be?...

There's kids starving in other parts of the world so it's immoral to bulk up.

A cutting cycle is a slap in the face to Cambodian refugees?

I understand that we may seem to obsess about food and gear however that's the purpose of this site. I donate money to charity and I am grateful for where I live however I'm not ashamed to train , eat and live well.

Take care.

Thanks for the answer man, I appreciate your honesty. I've always heard the same thing from a lot of my gym buddies- nobody does just one cycle. Oh well, I doubt that is going to dissuade me. Hope you get to feeling better about things.
