Anyone Here Ever Pay To Train W/ A Retired Pro Bb, Ie: Frank Zane, Lou Ferrigno?

They aren't gonna tell you anything you probably aren't already aware of, and anyone with a brain knows that training with Lou Ferrigno won't make you Lou Ferrigno and golfing with Tiger Woods won't make you Tiger Woods. Training for 9 hours with a pro BB will probably do nothing for your physiqu, BUT like was stated earlier, it is training with someone you look up to. Like you said, it is a psychological thing.

I don't know anything about you or your financial status, and I think anyone who tells you it isn't worth it is foolish. I personally am in no position right now to pay $700 for something like that, but for all I know $700 to you may be like $5 to me. If I could drop $700 and not think twice about the money, I'd love to train with guys I admire and look up to. In my case it wouldn't be Bodybuilders, but it is the same idea. I say do it and although you probably won't gain much physically from it, you will have a story to tell the rest of your life, and you can always pick up a pointer or two.

I think if you can afford it go for it. If your serious about body building go for it. The information is alot diffretn when it's coming out of the horrses mouth...and $77.00 is not bad at all..

My take on it is $77 an hour for Frank Zane isn't bad for personal training, compared to what they charge at Bally's or Gold's for run of the mill PTs. BUT, that $700 could be spent on things that would be much more helpful: food, supps, gear, gym membership, etc.

The difference between training with Frank Zane and training with Tiger Woods is that Tiger Woods knows a lot about the technique of golf, exactly how to swing the club, the arc to use, if you swing like this the ball goes further, etc. In a 1-on-1 session, he could demonstrate correct form, fix flaws with your technique, etc. But when it comes to bodybuilding, I'm sure you already know the correct form for exercises because there's not that much to it. Bodybuilding is more about info, which can be obtained for free by doing your own research.

Although it would be cool to train with Zane if you had money to blow....

I think it would be cool, I've seen a few Pro's train, worth it if you have the extra money. I wish few porn stars were priced like that lol.

louden, i find it hard to believe that chris aceto, charles glass and the like are so busy if the pros took the time to learn to train and eat. behind most every pro, there was a team of people, just like a successful business person.

Nate. . I was referring to bodybuilders of the 1970s.

id rather spend it on food. but money for me isnt the big reason i wouldnt do it...

These guys dont know me as well as i do #1 (that applys to any PT though)

#2 are there any pro natural bodybuilders... or at least famous ones. not really. and if there were they probably have the recovery ability of a guy on the sauce. I dont think i do. I know i couldnt get away with training like arnold.
If i trained like he told me, id be fried in a week and a half

Haha, yeah I'm going to pay 700 dollars for them teaching me volume training. Or I can pay 400 for 2 months with DC and actually learn and progress greatly.
