anyone have mono? i am sick as a dog

I don't know anyone else but me that is sick. Been sick since last wednesday with severe cold symptoms, pretty weak, dizzy no appetite, no lifting, probably lost 10 pounds. I am thinking i have mono or something.

mono sucks and can take you out for a long time - go to a doc and get checked.
maybe you will get lucky and it is just herpes.

My daughter had mono a few years back but she didn't have all those symptoms. Have you been to a dr? Sounds like the flu!?!

She basically felt run down and tired. She was succeptible to everything because mono causes your immune system to to be down. I think mono messed up her immune system because she is more succeptible to catch viruses easier.

i had a flu shot, and when i had the flu in the past it was much worse. Could i have it anyway, and maybe since i had the shot it is not too bad?

are you saying that you feel like shit as a result of a shot? if so, there's your answer possibly.

i dont think i have mone, think it may be the flu, but i had a flue shot in OCt.

well a flu shot doesn't protect from all strains of the flu - only the most common ones.
