Anyone have experience with short cycles like 4-5 weeks

I'm feeling guilty about doing another cycle.
But I am losing it in the gym, bros. No motivation and losing my gains.
I dont want to lose muscle but I dont want to get fat.
I have to get my wife pregnant and its selfish of me to go back on.
Is there a happy medium? Like maybe a short cycle to maintain sanity but short enough for a quick recovery of HPTA?

I did a six weeker.I think it was Prop, NPP and I think d-bol for the first 4 weeks. Worked well

A long time ago there was a bro on here that new all about short cycles, like 2-3 weeks cycles. I do not know shit about them. How about using var or primo? I hear you bro, it is not easy. I have ben getting rave reviews and everyone has noticed my fitness level and I am do to come off soo. I am scared shitless!

absolutely i can give you the log of it if you like. a 25 day cylcle. tbol only 60mg ed, gained 7 lbs of lean mass, pct was a cinch. if i did it again i would add prop but man it was a great cycle. probably the most successful ive run we shall see how this pct is

It's really weird. I never did aas between 1993 and 2001. In 1994, I was all natural cycling Met-Rx and creatine. First time I cycled creatine my squat jumped from 315 x 10 to 315 x 15. One time in law school, after getting lean as hell in the Summer, I rebounded with creatine and high calories and squatted 365 x 9. Ppl in the gym thought I was cycling for sure. One guy asked me if I played ball. Then you get a full time job and its a chore to maintain your routine but luckily I did for the last 12 years. In 2001 I discover MAS -- Mexican AS -- and get a bottle of decanandrolen (Denkall). And it's on. I'm looking back at my training log and even tho I could squat 315 x 10 natural and 315 x 15 (in 1994) and 365 x 9 (in 1996) on creatine, I'm looking back at my training log and in October 2004 I was only squatting 315 x 6-8 and I did a cycle of Syrus NPP only and in November 7, '04 I squatted 335 x 6, then Nov 24 '04 375 x 6, Dec 01 '04 395 x 5, Dec 09 '04 405 x 6, Dec 17 '04 405 x 6, Dec 27 '04 405 x 7, and Jan 4, '05 405 x 8. Even post cycle I told myself I would keep up the same weight and as late as May 09 '05 I got 405 x 6 and May 16 '05 405 x 5. June 15 '05 385 x 6. I know my npp cycle did not last past Feb, early Mar 05. I thik Feb it ended but it's been a while. Then in Aug '05 I did a strict cutter. Maintained 365 x 6 while I got lean as hell. 200mg/week of QV deca and 5 iu/day of Jintropin. That was it. Here I am in March 06 (I stayed on 6 months 200mg deca, followed by 100mg tren hex, followed by 50mg/day of var.)

In April '06, I made the mistake of quitting squats and substituting with leg presses for a few months. Now I'm back to 315 x 6-8. And every rep I hear "CLICK-CLICK" as the bone in my left hip cracks against my hip socket (endstage osteoarthritis). I am living on borrowed time, bros. Fighting off father time, trying to postpone a hip replacement as long as possible. It's starting to seem like a good idea to just have the surgery. But just picture that 12" fucking scar up the side of my hip! Fuck!

I dunno. Even if I do a cycle, I dont remember my hip ever making this kind of noise or bothering me so much. If my log is any indication of the future, I can look forward to squatting 405 x 8 again or maybe even more, but at what cost? I guess I might have to go to a sports orthopedic surgeon to find out whats the worst that could happen to ignore the clicking and keep piling on more weight. Let this be a warning bros. Look at Arnold next to the pool after his heart surgery. Eventually we have to ween ourselves off this fairy tale and start living like normal, average people. Or find a happy middle. Fuck, if I could just get back to where I was in 1999 (6 years since my last aas run and 2 years before my next), 185 lbs, benching 205 x 11, squatting 315 x 10, and 14 - 15 wide grip pull ups (18 strict wide grip pull-ups was my best in 1995 natural for 3 years), striations and veins in my legs, sexy as hell (if I do say so myself) :) Fuck, these steroids are not worth it. They are a great short cut for a sloppy lifestyle. But if you get your diet in check and stay away from booze, you can stay strong (relatively speaking) and lean without the juice.

Sorry to rant bros. It's therapy for myself. I am trying to work this out in my mind as I write.

I think it was in 96' ,I did a 5 week cycle of Prop@100mg eod. I gained 8lbs. Good strength gains also. Actually, that's the type of progress I like most. Subtle and solid gains and nothing too extreme.

it's ok man ...your life isn't ruined ...i can relate to the clicking joints, i'm early 30's and been pushin' weights for some time now, both with and without AAS.
if you're like me (and some others here) then you were above avg. without AAS ...people thought i was on long before i ever touched the stuff ...but because we strive to be the absolute best, we couldn't leave good enough alone ...so we turned our "very very good" into the "absolutely amazing" (special thanx to tren) even though maybe only for a seemingly short while ...we HAD to do it ...for we could not have lived with not knowing what we could have achieved ...we had to show the world how great we were ...but, alas everything comes at a price ...both greatness and vanity, whichever the culpret was ...if it's time to say good bye to AAS then you'll know or maybe you'll just have to goodbye to them in the traditional senses and doses? ...either way i'm confident you'll know ...and shit my friend, if it comes down to getting that hip replaced, then i'd want to go down in history as the fastest recovery ever recorded! ...you've lost nothing cuz you were great before AAS ...now start acting like you know it already!

My favorite short cycle would absolutely have to be
6 weeks of Tren A, test and var or winny.

I really appreciate that bro! Thank you very much. A voice of reason and calm from a bro who can relate ... very helpful, indeed.
