anyone have a good chilli recipe?

Chicken Chili- High protein, low fat, low carb...

4 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
1 can chili-seasoned Ro-tel
1 can seasoned chili beans

bake or grill the chicken, then shred or dice it into a desirable size
mix the cans of Ro-tel and beans together in a chili pot and add the chicken. Let it simmer on low heat until everything has blended
nicely. You can add some low-fat shredded cheese if you like.

The chili yields about 120 grams+ of protein, around 80 grams of carbs, and hardly any fat. Good stuff.

ill have to give that a try some time, casavant.

this weekend though i want beef in the chilli.

You can use lean beef too, man. It works either way. That's not the best chili recipe out there. If you're wanting to go from scratch, it's not shit. But it does make a pretty good meal if you're in a hurry or not wanting to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

healthy,and tastey recipe here......

5-10 lbs cooked ground beef.
1 large can of tomato sauce.
3 big cans of black beans(mmmm)
2 packs chili mix
diced mushrooms,onions (optional)

give it a go man,it's really fucking good.

3 lb. lean ground beef, browned in skillet, add to crock pot with 2 7 ounce cans of tomato sauce, add 2 large cans of kidney beans,1 pack of Mccormicks chili seasoning packet, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, let cook for 4 hours on low to medium heat, stirring occasionally so as not to burn, then add 2 table spoons of Old Bay seasoning, and let cook for 2 hours, turn off heat, you can now eat the chili, adding more Old Bay to taste.

I have found that letting the chili cool off, then putting in the refrigerator over night, that when heated up the next day the chili actually has more flavor.

Bro.. there is no perfect recipie for chili... I like to think I make the best chili in the world.. I enter those chili cookoffs sometimes. anyhow... here is a good idea...

Someone mentioned that Caroll Shelby's chili.. (you can get this in the seasoning section of your grocery)... buy it.

follow the directions.. but not to a "T"... here is why. ....

The "hot" packet they give you is complete shit. Don't use it. Alot of people do not use the Masa Flour... you should.. but it has to be watery enough before you add it.

Jalepenos are good... Plobanos are best!

Use well drained ground sirloin. (do not rinse the fat off the meat with water.. if you are that freaked out by fat.. eat grilled chicken and plain rice)

I serve mine with mashed potatoes.. I also add a lob of sour cream to the pot of chili just before I take it off the heat.

You can use kidney beans.. or black beans.. I use both.

The recipie you get from the Caroll Shelby package is a good place to start.. but try to think of this as a medium.. and yourself as the artist.

(avoid going overboard with ground cumin)

GOOD LUCK!!!
