São Paulo or rio which would you recommend someone to go to?planning on heading down soon and have a friend from sao paul that says to go there instead of rio....whats your guys opinion?trying not to be robbed killed or infected with hiv...lol....which is the better choice?

From what I know Sao Paulo and Rio aren't THAT far apart, so you can in reality probably visit both without too much trouble. But again, that is purely based on geography. I have no other knowledge at all.

you might want to talk to the tectonic plates inside the earths layers about the forming of Brazil, if anyone here even claims to have helped, i'd call them a liar.

My mom got robbed at knife point in Rio last year... but crime-wise I don't think Sao Paulo is much better.. just be careful which ever you decide
