If they can get them to a reasonable price point, it'll be very exciting indeed. Not only for speed, but for increased reliability...current HDDs are a nightmare for wear and tear due to all the moving parts.

osx booted in 23 seconds. I havent timed win7 but its noticeably slower.

but yeah SATA and eSATA too
