Anyone ever tried this....

I never did it and I really don't want to since it is primarily focused on how to get bigger and not stronger, I would rather do some intense cardio instead....

I went to igh school w/ a kid who used the 100 rep thing..at the time he had prolly the best body in our school, dont know if it was just genetics or the 100 reps

Thats what I was thinking.

Remember guys the weight were talking about here is not enough to cause the micro tears that heavy weight does. It is geared towards increasing the "capillary density" of your muscles, or in simpler terms, fuel delivery system. I just tried this using a ~25lbs and got a heck of a pump. It works the muscles and increases the demand for oxygen within the muscle there by stimulating your body to create more capillarys which increases the amount of o2 and nutrients delivered to the particular muscle.

I think overtraining is not an issue here, like the article states do the 100 reps on the days you normally DO NOT work that muscle.

I am going to give it a try for 8 weeks and will postthe results...:)

For the sake of science and freaking big ugly muscle:

Whenever we spot a nebie in the gym we advice him or her such an of the wall training method like 100 reps or SUPERSLOMO, plz mail the progress or lack of progress of your guinea pig in 3 months so that we get a stastical clue about these far fetched methods and meanwhile we can stick to our failsafe 5*5 or 4 *8 routines while others explore the bounderies for us....

wouldnt 100 reps take a long time and get really boring?

Not if you did 50 in the morning and 50 in the afternoon like it says, although it may be borning just listen to a music, should only take one-two songs with good form and speed.
