Anyone ever seen a bear in the wild?

or some other animal that could rip you to pieces in seconds? Can you Imagine Just hiking through the woods and you see a huge grizzly bear starring you down. I think I would start crying then shit on myself. If it charged me I think I would jump straight up in the air and try to land on my head to knock myself out so I’m not conscious when the fucker eats me:lmao:

That would be a horrifying way to die. Would you like to know how you are going to die?

I'v heard of attacks on tv and stuff, but could you really imagine how you feel? what kind of shock your body goes into right when you see and are facing a 1500 pound death machine, that sees you as a threat, or a target for food. I mean it is over unless you are very lucky. I dont know if I could move, I think I'd be frozen with fear. hey 2thick, are there grizzlies around your parts?

A few months ago there was a black bear wondering around on the highway near a university in Tampa, Florida. The oddest thing was that there were no woods around. This was in one of the busiest parts of Tampa.

oh ok...yeah, I dont think I'd be as freaked seeing a black bear, not because the size difference, but they are known to be less aggressive, way more scard of humans, but still. I bet you ran for a good 10 minutes before you stopped lol.

We have Grizzly bears and other types (I think).

I was talking about a Brown bear in my earlier post (in Florida).

Ive had a few encounters wirth bears. Always black bears though. The one that sticks in my head is when me and my buddy were sittin down by a creek drinkin by a campfire down on his property. All of a sudden we hear somethin to the side of us across this small creek, and my buddies 170lb saint bernard german sheperd mixed dog comes rippin past us barking. So i turn and grab this spotlight we had with us and this black bear is about 30-40ft from us. So it runs up the creek with his dogs chasin it . Then the dogs come back and we commence to talking about what we would have done if the bear had actually came after us. LOL.

I have seen a few black bears. They are the coolest animal I have ever seen. How great would it be to have a pet bear. You know those would pick up twice the chicks a dog would at the park.

I could have probably seen him/her if I had turned around but I was too busy running a 4.2 40.

Funniest thing I have ever heard out of you.......I'd like to see that 4.2 40 now....Mr. Ishmail......;)

:FRlol:

yeah we had 25 acres here in washington about 13 years ago. there were 3 or 4 known bears that lived on the 200 acres that are land connected too. I never saw one, but our black berry field was littered with their shit. one time hiking through with my dog me and my brother heard loud crashing in the distance, our dog stood up on it's two legs looking in that direction grawling. It has never done that and never did again. we never saw it but knew it was a bear.

'Play dead' my fucking ass!!!

never seen a bear but i have seen loads of alligators and poisonous snakes. even had a 6ft shark swim right buy me when i was night diving once.

on a side note: if you want to see something really funny, get on kazaa and download a video clip from the kids in the hall called"surviving a grizzly bear attack".

I have black bears, deer, squirrels, coons...etc that come into my backyard quite often.,....they never seem to last past hunting season though....heh heh heh...<wink>

they say its better to go downhill than uphill when running from a bear. his front legs are shorter than his rear ones, causing him to tumble. when hes down, id kick him im the nuts and gouge out his eyes! then run, far far away!

I was mountain biking down a little hill on a backwoods trail , hauling pretty good, and almost ran right in to the ass of a black bear.
Scared the living shit outta me... luckily it ran away.

Another time a similar thing happened but it was with a brown bear.. which looks a lot like a grizzley.
Another load was dumped in my shorts.

Oh... and I saw a pic of Nature Boy camping... does that count?

i spent the summer in colorado (silverthorne) two summers ago and there were bears all around the resort we stayed at. people actually chase bears up there. why i dont know. but it was freakin scary seeing one take off running. they look so slow, until they start moving.

btw seems like you and sk* are now best buddies.

Yep. We're getting along quite well

:friends:

Grizzlies yes. Twice while hunting. All I had was my Remington 700 and a Colt Python (2.5" so it's a pea shooter). This is one of the reason why I bought a S&W .500 Magnum.
