Anybody Work in a Major Gym Chain??

decem

New member
i moving to northern Cali and might have a job at a major gym chain as a personal trainer.

well i plan on starting a bulking cycle when i get out there, but now don't know if i should since i might get this job.

how do these gym chains look at the people who work for them that do steroids?

are they indifferent towards it? do they test for drugs? would i get fired if i get out there, start the job, then blow up and get all water bloated for a 6 weeks (i'll be starting winny the last 6 weeks which would do away with the bloat).

i actually think it would be better, since as a personal trainer i would work for commission and who WOULDN'T want the freaky guy to train them? most people that are using trainers would think that he knows what he's talking about since he's proven it in his physique.

then i could make even more money.

any input on the topic welcomed.

i honestly doubt they would care bro, your just there doing your thing it wouldnt effect your business, other pt's may be pissed cuz your stealing there business and hey if major gyms look down on juice ill be losing my job at my gym cuz im starting a cycle in a month or so,id say go for it

I just started my PT job at 24hr Fitness. I am also getting on cycle in about a month or so. What are ya gonna do? Tell everybody your on cycle? As far as they know, it's those damn 24hr Fitness multi-vitamins that are doing that to you. Take before and after pictures and I bet it will help you sell more supps.

hey stud... i'm going to 24 hour fitness too.

where are you working at?

i'm doing a dbol, test, deca, winny cycle

that's a good idea about the supps.

at 24 hr fitness, who makes more money, the sales people or the personal trainers?

I ask because I just got laid off from my programming job at a dotcom and I gotta pay my bills some kind of way!

t'anks.

i was told the personal trainers make the most.. but they could be lying.

i'm actually looking to get out of the IT/IS field as well.. but for different reasons... like i just don't like what i'm doing.

I'm in Denver, CO.

strongchick, I have no f'in clue. I think the good sales people definitly make more.

As far as i've seen the sales staff makes more money, then almost anyone else in the gyms. The key to all of it is location, if you are in an area w/ high turnover, sales cleans up.

If you are gonna do a cycle, just be smart. If start to blow up all of a sudden, just stay covered, and where some looser fitting clothes. And don't be to sure that being a freak will help bring in clients. For the most part women make up the bulk of most of the trainer's i know clientel's. Many women are intimidated by large men, they feel they are going to make "Bulky" and can't help them get "toned." All in all just be smart, don't get caught and good luck w/ the new job.
