I just turned 35 and am starting to relize how much damage couldv been done over the last 10-12years from high blood pressure, even when im off its still alittle high 130s/90 The last couple times i went the doctor i took baby asprin before and it puts me 120/75 so now i take baby asprin daily but how damaging is high blood pressure.I checked it at cvs the other day when i went to get more asprin and it was 150/98,does any1 else deal with thiswhile on test bulking.I feel iv been lifting weights since i was 17 i use to go the boxing gym on the regular but at 5'9" currently 200lbs 13%bf should i worry about heart problems from years of rollarcoaster blood pressure,I know i cant be the only one.. and if your not checking ur BP u should u might be surprized.

I hear you man. I made the mistake of running some ph without need2 guard and had some real bad Bp issues. Now my systolic is always alittle high. (130's). I won't even think of cycling without need2gauard again!! But now I got a Bp monitor to track it. And I'm doing more cardio to help
Bp is nothing to mess with

Hypertension can be very detrimental to your healthy over time ... U should make sure u keep ur bp in the normal range .. There so many complications that can occur

this isn't good.. you need to come off AAS for a while.. run support supps and get things normal again. also your diet can really fuck up your bp and cholesterol. cut down on the meat.. especially the red meat. you need more veggies. everytime you eat a piece of meat you better compensate for that with 3X as much veggies, that should be your new rule

also taking aspirin everyday is stupid for a lifter and here is why. lets say you have an injury, the aspirin will mask it.. so you will keep pounding away at the gym and make more damage without even knowing it. not good

you are kind of a large dude with your stats like me.. the difference between us though is i haven't abused AAS and when i run them i always run support supps + my diet is very strong and healthy. i rarely eat red meat (maybe twice a month tops) and its always grassfed buffalo

so basically you should drop some weight (yea yea i know it sucks) but do it. up your cardio for a while. get things turned around. then when you are healthy again you can run a cycle .. i don't know if you have kids or a wife but think about them and what would happen if you had a heart attack .. can't be selfish..

and yes you are right a lot of guys on here have heart issues.. but its not just on here its the nation as a whole.. #1 killer among women is actually heart disease.. its the diets and lifestyles of people. the AAS just makes it worse.

thanks man good advice i think i needed to hear it from someone who knows how to control it..Its true because of my weight its as high as its ever been, also a few months ago i got the flu and lost 20lbs then about a month ago started test deca nolva hcg and put the 20lbs right back on. I know it was bad losing that weight and worse gaining that fast,it took years to get there and now if i get a injury or get sick i can climb back in 4-6weeks no problem. I was gona wait but i think changing my diet now and startig cardio back up in full swing is best, also switching to my favorite primo and turinabol n hcg..Il post results as progress is made. The only other thing is BP is a tricky thing unless ur peting a puppy listening to music all day it will be all over the place throughout the day.

20 pounds in a short time is a no no as well.

its not like you are 140 pounds going to 160 pounds.. you are large for your height and going even larger. not a good.

just imagine how much harder your heart has to work in such a short amount of time.. put yourself in your hearts shoes man

Hi Ripped,

I've been on HRT (Sustanon 250xe2weeks) for nearly 12 years. I'm 42, and strangely enough...5'9" and hovering around 195Ibs.
As a result of therapy I became hypertensive and it's currently controlled by Amlodapine (increases elasticity of the arteries), and Bisoprolol (Betablocker). AAS by and large increase the amount of red blood cells in circulation, and this rise along with increased viscosity of the cells, can cause a rise in blood pressure.

As Stevesmi says, reducing your intake of red meat and saturated fats, and increasing the amount of all manner of vegetables and fruit, will go some way to help reduce BP. Also try to cut down - or totally eliminate - the amount of salt in your diet. Salt alone is a large contributor to hypertension. Personally, I use a 75mg/day intake of aspirin to help thin the blood and reduce the stickiness of platelets and RBC's. The main danger, apart from tolerance to pain warning signs, is the detrimental effect aspirin may have on your stomach. It's known to cause internal bleeding and acid reflux in some people. With this in mind it might be useful to have some antacids on hand to combat symptoms of heartburn/indigestion, should the occur.

Flaxseed Oil, Fish Oils or other Omega 3 foods or supplements can also help by reducing or controlling the levels of LDL/VLDL cholesterol in your blood. Over time the bad cholesterols can form plaques in the lumen of your arteries which causes blood flow to become restricted and under pressure: It's called hypercholesteronaemia, I think.

Another solution, if your blood returns show increased RBC count, is a venosection. This is essentially the same type of process that's used when you donate blood. They simply drain a pint or so of blood from you every so often to lower the amount of volume and RBC in circulation. I'm currently awaiting a decision on this happening with my GP. Obviously, you'd need to see a specialist or physician to agree to this.

A great way to reduce it is eating cleaner( no junk food,,sodas,,fast food.etc..) and drinking a ton of water.

My advice- for which I may be flamed- is to not try to artificially lower your BP before going to the doc, and allow them to give you the proper meds for what your BP is. I have high blood pressure. It got super high while I was on, but has been high for a very long time. It takes 2 consecutive high readings before they get serious about treating it. After all this time, I finally got decent insurance and started going to the doc. Tried a diuretic alone at first, then they added an ACE inhibitor. After years of hypertension, my BP is perfect now. All this time trying crap like eating less salt.... fuck that. That's not the fucking problem they need to cut that shit out. The dietary fixes just aren't that good. Had I simply kept on trying to reduce sodium intake I would've seriously damaged my health.
