The thread title probably assumed it was somehow quite bad. He was rectifying that idea.

Similar to someone starting a thread stating the bible is bad, and a christian giving reasons in support of the idea that it is not bad. The christian is not necessarily trying to promote christianity.

We are not involved in a philosophical discussion in a prestigious university. My opinion can be supported in many ways, but forgive me for not typing up hundreds of references to support my post. And what the fuck is cyclical logic? This is what we call pseudo-intelligence, making general statements about a statement without consideration of the internal variables. Cyclical, circular, both could be used. In fact, cyclical carries more directly pertinent meaning than circular. A circle is a shape.

You assumed that drugs were bad, and assumed that BeefyBull was making an excuse for what obviously was immoral behavior, which proves that drugs are bad.

drug bad -> bad effect -> drug bad

We are not involved in a formal debate, but we should still back up our statements with reason. Otherwise it becomes a pissing contest. You made absolute (in other words, "blanket", since you like standardized terminology) statements with no reasons given in this and another post regarding drugs.
