Anybody do chest and back on consecutive days?

Are these a good idea to put on back to back days?

Did back + bi's today, thinking of doing chest and tri's the tomorrow.

I don't train arms anymore. I figured that once I get to benching and rowing 315 and 275; I'll do arms again. So I have awhile to go. :)

do you do shoulders with arms or do they have their own day?

Dunk, do you find that too taxing on your arms and shoulders (rc's)?

my current routine is

chest/calves
shoulders/back
legs
arms/abs

I do it most weeks. I mean they are opposing muscles so I dont see a problem with it. Although if my chest is sore the next day it does take me a few sets for the pain to go away while im doing back.

A little bit but as long as i dont go super heavy.

I do shoulders by them selves and then give arms there own day on Friday.

hahha...i see like myself you dont do legs.

this is what I'm planning

Mon -back, bi's
Tues - chest, tri's
Weds - off day
Thurs - legs
Fri - shoulders, wrists, forearms (if they don't feel overworked)
abs 2X per week, calves 2X per week

I want to try and put distance between shoulder day and chest day, chest day really tires my RC's. Also between back (deadlifts) and legs (squats, GM's).

thats a good split. plenty or recuperation time. I do the same split basically only I throw a all arm day in there . Just because im paranoid my arms wont grow unless i hit em 2x week. My shoulders are usually in pain for atleast 2 days after chest so I keep them far apart also.

I also try to avoid doing chest on Mondays since it seems to be international chest day and it's a bitch to get a bench.

nah buit ive been runnin. I really should start. I used to do Legs but my knees are so bad it sux. even running hurts from both injuries.

im normally:

chest tris
back bis
shoulders/calves/forearms
legs
chest tris
back bis

i alternate between heavy/light days for chest tris back bis and alternate predominance on chst vs tris or back vs bis

even as a natty ive had some of my best gains following this regime, so im sure youll be fine

One more routine for ya:
mon chest and calves
tues back and abs
wed cardio
thurs shoulders and cardio
fri superset arms
sat legs
sun off, sometimes cardio

not that bad of a move. mine right now:

Legs/Shldrs (Mon)
Ch/Tris (Tues)
Back/Bi's (Fri)

But I'm not exactly lifting at peak performance here, so this routine is a little "off".

Mon: Heavy Legs and posterior chain
Tue: Light Chest, shoulders, lats

Thu: Light Legs and posterior chain
Fri: Heavy Chest, shoulders, lats

That'll have you overworked in no time.
your work out or the chest and back on consecutive days?

The kangaroo in your sig looks like a stud

chest and tri's = monday
back and bi's = tuesday
rest = wednesday
shoulders and forearms = thursday
legs = friday
sometimes I'll go in on saturday and do some more arms and calves. I also do abs before every workout. On back and leg days I'll rotate deads and stiff legged deads every week. I won't do both exercises in one week so my body can recover from heavy deads before doin stiff legged deads on leg day.

i've never had a problem doing chest and back on back to back days

Sometimes I do chest and back together on the same day. Supersetting from one exercise for Chest to one exercise for Back as I go.

Incline presses/rear pulldowns

etc...
