Anybody been on 6 month courses???

And was PCT/Coming off harder to deal with than coming off a standard 8-10 week course? Did you keep more gains?

There's no need to stay on that long , recovery will take longer and you will need to wait 8 months to jump back on another cycle , besides gains tend to slow down after week 10 or so , you will have to manipulate doses tweak diet you will be better off doing 3months on

I stay on low dose (200mg/wk) test cyp year round as prescribed by my doctor. I'll add tren and/or growth usually for 6-8months also at a lower dose. I also gave arimidex, clomid, and HCG prescribed if I need/want it. I take .25mcg arimidex 3x week year round but very rarely take clomid or HCG.

IMHO low dose longer length cycles yield higher quality results & you will keep your gains. I believe it is also less harsh on your body overall. Think of it in terms of binge drinking every week versus having only 2-3 drinks every week. except with AAS they build up levels in the blood whereas alcohol is quickly processed.

I have done the high dose short 10-14week cycles & they get you big, strong, hard real quick but the rebound is always very noticeable in many aspects. The body likes equilibrium, not yo-yo-ing :)

Oh and fwiw, I'm 6'6 235lbs @ around 9% right now. I'm 31yrs old & have been doing it this way for 6yrs. Keep in mind I do not want kids, ever. And was diagnosed with low T at age 25 so I'm okay with HRT for the rest of my life. I believe that the high dose short cycles I did early in my 20's really messed up my body & contributed to chronic low T.

It takes a looong time to recover. I've done it before, over a year. You will need to run hcg throughout or every 2nd while you are on otherwise your hpta will probably be pretty screwed. I did a 2 month intensive pct. Then it still took another 2/3 months to get my test in mid normal range again. Not advisable bro. I was prepared for the consequences but luckily I recovered fine.

i am on year round ,long cycles yield slow steady gains , not sure about recovery as i cruise on low dose test but would imagine it takes alot longer !

A close friend of mine is at 14 months now. He is a monster at this point.

He was going to do a six month Sustanon cycle at 450mg a week. Then by month 6-7 he said he was having sex drive problems. So he bumped it up to 750mg (I recommend he come off and pct) then at month 11-12 he started having issues again. So now he's at 1,000mg a week.

I don't know how he will pct at this point. He's honestly nerves to do it. I think he's going to have serious issues afterwards.

Wow...couldn't imagine the recovery process of this...and the mood swings and or depression associated with it. Keep cycles under 12 weeks (it will actually depend on the compound you are taking...such as EQ needing longer than 12 weeks to be effective) IMO, unless you are in your upper 40s and ready to cruise for the rest of your life.

Fatigue mostly. Low sex drive. Half hard-ons. Good shit. Recovered better than origional though. Higher natty test levels than pre cycle....explain that one!!

Interesting...better than before...maybe you are just a freak of nature my brotha! Genetics will play a role as well...having low sex drive and half hard ons would not make my wife happy.

Yep. What Im wondering is for those of you that have stayed on for ages did you keep the majority of your gains? (Not gonna try it myself due to financial & health reasons, just curious as to how others got on)

No gains kept because I got injured and had to stop cold turkey. So I went from 280 at apx 20% bf (6'0) to 265-270 and fat as fuck.

I think if he would have ran a low dose test and periodically blasted its much more sustainable. His dose was way too high, way too long. Like it was said earlier in the thread, the body likes to stay balanced. A 100-200 mgs a week will keep your body at a natural test level. 450 mgs will sky rocket test levels and no human was built to sustain that for long periods of time. At this point he should come off and do a lengthy pct, or atleast drop to a hrt dose. Moderation is the key for anything.

^^^^exactly why I stay low dose test & periodically throw in tren, eq, and/or growth but all still low doses relative to what most run. For me low & slow yields more quality results that remain.

I've been on upwards of 8 months before, with about half of that time cruising on 250mg test. I soon after ran a vigorous PCT with HCG, nolv/clomid, caber, postcycle/unleashed, and a variety of herbals 2 months beyond PCT (bulgarian tribulus, maca, muira puama, resveratrol, ashgawanda, etc). After nearly 4 months off my blood work was excellent and most everything within range, but I believe that's only because I was 26 at the time and listened to the advice of many bros on EF concerning proper post-cycle protocol. Some guys will recover fast and some it could take years, or never happen at all. Its all based on genetics and age mostly, but I think if you do it right and follow time on=time off, you stand a much better chance of getting back to normal without risking the possibility of premature HRT.

Two bulls are standing on a hilltop over looking a herd of females. The young bull says "let's run down there and screw one of those cows." the old bull shakes his head and says "let's walk down and screw them all."

I prefer longer cycles to allow your body to adjust and make some good progress. I feel like shorter cycles are a rollercoaster ride, and I dont like it either.I havent ran longer than 18 Weeks, but Ive been considering a 12 month cycle, with low doses and periodic blasts. Afterwards Im going to do a lengthy pct, and see how I recover. I recover from 18 week cycles fine so well see.

Reminds me slow and steady wins the race. Life's a marathon not a sprint. I think it's easy to get impatient with many things in life especially lifting and getting results. We all want to change something i.e. bigger arms, lose weight faster etc. when I started looking at lifting as a life long journey I quit hurrying to get fast results. It may sound stupid...I look at things in a strange way.

Not stupid or strange at all and I completely agree...longevity as well. The kids these days want it all and want it now, and don't care too much about the risks. They don't want to listen to experience, only hear what they want.

I knew there was some intelligent logic behind the bull :D!

Not even close! His goal is to live until 40 and just be strong as possible until then. Pro power lifter. He's been up to 2,000mg before. Also ran large amounts of other things with it. Halo, anadrol, tren, winny and dbol.

Most pro powerlifters dont run gigantic amounts of juice. Those are the guys that do well a few years and then fade away.
