I really want to get into the business after i graduate. Right now i'm a marketing major, but i plan to switch to psychology and take a couple more science classes. I wanna switch to psychology because I am more interested in it and I've gotten nothing but A's in those classes.

my question is....Do you have to be a business major to get into the Pharmaceutical Sales field?

Thanks-

No.

Any 4 year degree will get you an interview. When I was hiring people, I found my best people came from a marketing background, so you may have lucked out there.

There are some companies that still prefer a biology background, but it's not mandatory.

maybe you could get a job in the black market, I heard it pays well.

All you need is a caddy with blacked out windows and a cool name like "TT".

An understanding of Ebonics also helps

As pittbull said, so. I have several friends that went into that field after undergrad and they all have varying degrees

Or at least have the ability to recognize spacing, and/or spelling errors. :)
Ouch, well I seem to be doing ok for being such a crap speller. As I recently landed a sales job with a fortune 500 company. :)

Then the first rule of thumb, don't refer to it as a sales job with a Fortune 500 Company. Walmart is also a Fortune 500 Company. :)

I'm just messing with ya, boo. I figured a fish over the head, sure, but such sensitivity.......??

I don't think I could live with myself if I did that job.
