Any weekend gardeners here?

I have an area set aside for a wildflower garden in the very back of my yard, but I was looking for something different for another spot in my yard. I am in zone 8 weather wise. It is a bright sunny area, and I want something with lots of color. Any ideas?

My yard is my refuge from the annoying things and people in life. I go there to relax and enjoy nature.

All of these are perennials and they come back year after year.
