I need to take my multi-vit, but i take some centrum stuff that we have lying aroudn the house............

im lookin for something more geared toward bodybuilders if there is such a thing

thx

Twinlab DualTabs. The BEST MultiVitamin I've found so far. Best Ratios and science. Besides, if Macro uses it himself I rest my case.

According the the National Institute of Health (NIH), American Dietetic Association (ADA), and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), one Centrum along with a 'proper' diet following the food guide pyramid will supply more then enough nutrients. Infact, if your intake of calories is high you may have to watch you don't exceed the upper limit recommendations for some nutrients.

A far as an increased need for nutrients in bodybuilders goes, the general consensus states thats there is no need for increased nutrient intake in 'natural' bodybuilders. Calories from protein, carbohydrates and fats are the only variable that would have to be increased.

Remember 'more' is not always better!

those guys also say that roids are evil,
taking lots of proteins is useless or carbs should be the base of your diet .... :(

hmmmmm didnt think about it like that......

i am au natural, but im so laggin behind my freinds who have very poor diets, eat panda express 3x a week, dont sleep enough, dont take protein after a workout, etc etc.....they are natty too, dont know or care about nutrition, and dont read up on proper techniques.

Yesterday in the gym i introduced my workoutpartner (and bestfreind) to the 5x5 routine..........his dumbass did 5 on the first set, 10 on the second, 10 on the third, 8 on the forth, adn 5 on the fifth. Later on his cousin showed up and he did another 2 sets of 10 on the bench with him. I would think this is sorta overworking it, right???????

they continually get gains and take on heavier weights while im stuck on the same weight, and my shape and size is the same it has been for the last 2 months. Am i not pusing myself as hard? should i step up my gain and push even when my body is about to explode? :D

Its very unlikely that your poor gains are due to a deficiency in nutrients. I'd check into this list below.

1. Are you overtraining?

2. Are you getting enough calories?, and in the proper proportions?

3. Are you stalling due to an overdone workout routine.

4. Are you getting enough sleep?

...etc.

I doubt it, i go into the gym 4-5 times a week each muscle group 1x a week

2. Are you getting enough calories?, and in the proper proportions?

havent really counted calories, but i eat every 2-3 hours, get in as much protein as i can

3. Are you stalling due to an overdone workout routine.

this could very well be it, my partner is pretty ingnorant (still my bestfriend tho) and doenst see how doing the same damn routine isnt very beneficial.

4. Are you getting enough sleep?
I love to sleep, a good 8-10 hours a night
...etc.

I know it's not fun, but you might just have to count calories. You could be severly underestimating your intake. It happens quite often with people who 'think' their eating a lot just because they 'feel' full after a meal.

It may be a good idea make a new topic asking for diet advice, and include some of the foods you usually eat. You could do a similar post regarding your training.

There is hope, and we're here to help. :)
