There were alot of memories and I'll never forget anypart of it.

Just think, there's someone out there in the world police calling some else's cig butts, there's someone getting a blanket party in boot camp, there's someone on fire watch in the gulf even though there's not a damn thing around them for miles. there's someone re-feild daying the barracks because someone decided to walk on the newly waxed floor before it was inspected.

U.S.M.C '93 - '97 m.o.s. 2141. all of you 0311's should now what that is. Remember the dreaded amtrack's that took you from ship to shore and had most of the boots throwing chow all over the place? I was the a-hole that kept those ancient iron caskets afloat in the water. If you wanna call it floating, most had about 6" of water on the floor, those leaky son of a bi#*h's. And the FEW that didnt leak, we would put pennys in the cargo hatch seal just to watch everyone shit their pants while thinking the damn thing was gonna go under! That was really cruel, but you get awfully bored in the field!!

no mp suck ass. no one likes them. they enforce the rules and marines dont like rules. I was a Marine for 4 years and now that im out im going back. dont have to worry about being tested

is MCT hard or what. well, looks like i won't be liked. i think i'll be a cool MP. i'd like to guard an embasy or something. i want to go back to the west coast for my station, that's a possibility right? i tried to go airwing but all the jobs were full.

MP and Embassy duty are different MOS. If you get Embassy duty you will stay two years and spend the rest of your contract as a grunt (I was a grunt for 6years) MP on the other hand means you ain't gonna get promoted. You will spend your time checking the drunk grunts as they come back on base every weekend and you WILL develop a shitty attitude. Good luck in the Corps, too bad the Phillipines are now closed. You would have liked the LBFM's (little brown fucking machines), the women of the Phillipines.

MP= Military Police, If you really do the Mp thing try as hard as hell to be a dog handler or go for the SRT. Best jobs as MP. As for Embassy duty, anyone can do it and it's for 3yrs, first you get a hardship tour which means your somewhere you don't wanna be, but after that you pick where you go, which can mean some pretty bad ass countries. MCT is not hard but it is the most humping you'll ever do with an MP MOS. Embassy duty is not under the MP MOS it falls under security forces if I'm not mistaken which you would have to be at least 19 to enlist in anyway. If you haven't gone to MEPS yet you can change your MOS if thats something you really desire. As an MP though you aren't really in a high demand field so you can FAP out to another MOS for a period of time and learn what other jobs the Marine Corps has to offer. To be honest at this point you shouldn't even be worrying about the petty things concentrate on preparing for boot camp physically. There really isn't any sort of mental preparation you can do so just go with a positive mental attitude and remember "quit" is not even a word.
