tristan and isolde?
I thought it was a good movie. I dont generally watch movies like that though.
The ending could have been a bit better. Should have been a little sadder!

The poem Isolde recites, John Donne's "The Good-Morrow", is a 17th-century work, which is centuries later than the movie's time period.

it ruined the whole movie for me.

Another movie I havnt heard of that i will see thankya much.

Donne snipit (Hemingway must have read this)...

"No man is an Iland, intire of it selfe; every man is a peece of the Continent, a part of the maine; if a Clod bee washed away by the Sea, Europe is the lesse, as well as if a Promontorie were, as well as if a Mannor of thy friends or of thine owne were; any mans death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankinde; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee."
