Any one on here have sleep problems?

i had sleep problems for years and tried everything and nothing seemed too work.finally they gave me trazadone and i take 150mg at night before bed.i sleep atleast 10 hours a night.
at first youll feel drousy in the morning but it will subside after your body get used too it.this really saved my life.
i would be tired all day just like you then at night id be wired.
go see a docter and ask for this.it is non-addictive

Soma never worked for me
GH would give you better sleep but its to expensive
G would knock you out but few hours later you will have a sudden awakening
I recently tried a new product called liquid relaxation "you could do a search on the web" it defenatly work but the next day you don’t feel like getting up, I'm still sleepy even after 10 hours of sleep.

If I could get G I would, pay anything.

Almost had my doc ready to prescribe me some xyrem, but she wants to try other methods first.

I agree totally. Trazodone will knock you out and you will sleep well. Elavil (amitryptaline) will also knock you out for hours. You might want to look into either one of these.

Rather than use xanax, which is an addictive benzodiazapine, or Ambien, which is also habit-forming, you might want to look into Desryl(trazodone). It's an anti-depressant (not an SSRI) with strong sedative hypnotic effects. Its non-habit forming and it works great. If you can't get your doc to give you a script, it's available from quite a few OPs.

Well, i'm not sure what the shelf-life on trazodone is, but the worst thing that could happen is that it won't be as effective as fresh meds. The doseage varies depending on the individual, but if you have 50mg tablets, take between 3 and 5 about 40 minutes before you head off to bed. It sounds like a lot, but @ 50mg/pill they are very weak. Basically, you need about 150mg-250mg for it to be effective. Check the bottle though, because you may have the 100mg tablets, in which case 2 should be fine.

BigDelt.

I am know doctor so take my advice with a grain of salt.. but I suffered with a sinus infection like you for several months.. tried dozens of antibiotics but the only one's that help me were either Augmentum or Vantive...

Now with Sinus infections as you know are hard to get rid of the longer you have them.. so give either of these two meds a couple of weeks to kick in.. Good Luck Bro..

Flash.....

be careful quitting the xanax, i was on it for months and stopped almost cold turkey. i had such bad withdrawal symptoms, i thought i was going to die. i couldnt sleep for days, i had the shakes, cold sweats, hot flashes, paranoya...this went on for 4 days and only stopped when i couldn't take it any more and took some valium. you better ween off it very slowly. i wouldn't want to go thru it again.
