2001 I was in va when the bomb sirens went off...I remember the day to a t.I new sooner or later I was going to the war.shit I was going air born and being attached to a air born unit they are the most active units in the army so I knew I was going...I remember there was some girls crying when they heard the sirens going off even some guys were all scared and I said to them wtf you cring about this is great I cant wait to go to war.in my heart I did not mean it though.I joined for the college money and other shit not to go to war.I never thought there would be a war when I signed up.its so fucked up.my old man was telling me dont go you never know when there could be a war lol.I told him what are the chances.layinback said:thank you for your service needto.....i hate that GODDAMN war, but i appreciate our fighting men and women.

the army was one of the worse and one off the best choices I ever made all at the same time.I got so much out of it and I lost so much out of it.I dont even know what to think about it

my son got his adnouds taken out..they drugged the shit out of him.gave him like 5 deferent drugs and he was drugged out for 2 full days I was pissed.I dont see any reason they had to give him that many drugs.Gymgurl said:

Thanks to all for your service. We genuinely appreciate it... Yea, I have an ax to grind with the US for many reasons, but that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate what all our servicemen and women sacrificed for ME. I've always been aware and always been appreciative <--- lesson taught me by my immigrant parents as they lived through some pretty ugly shit.
About re-enlistment - I'd often asked my Old Grump why he kept going back even when his time was done. I believe he did 3/4 tours in Vietnam. It was so many years ago and he only talks about it when I bring it up. His answer astounded me. He said, "I knew how to kill people. Not equipped to do much else."
Needto, Is there any way you could do your work under the radar? Tough choice for sure. Don't know what to tell you....
