the total makeover show always does laser treatments on their people and they look alot younger after the operation...

take some before and after shot then post them here :)

how much money is it going to set you back?

I cant do it just yet. Since I was on accutane, I have to wait like a year before I can do any sort of treatments or alterations to myself. Couple g's for a procedure like that, I would guess.

I've done two treatments of the Erbium laser a few years ago. honestly bros...the shit works...but the downtime is a killer! And don't forget about how red your skin is after the treatment. Nobody bothered telling me about the "residual redness" from laser treatments...its been about two years now and the redness is almost gone now. I'm talkin bright ass red to..not just a little rosey! So just think it through guys...it works...but you won't see the benefits until at least a year after the procedure. Those chicks on those make over shows look great after their laser treatments because after they heal they slap buckets of makeup on their face to hid the redness. Do a little research into plastic surgery...you can find some people who have posted their worst experiences with lasers talking about how much they regret the process...while others say it was the best thing that happened to them. Your best bet would be a plastic surgeon who doesn't go so deep with the laser, but beleives in conservative treatments....you can always go back and do it again. good luck!

laser = scam. so many types out there. few know how to use it. etc. etc it really is a "hit and miss" and you can be out thousands b4 u even know it ai'nt doing dick.

it's too much in i's infancy. wait 10 years.

Laser Hair removal is not meant to remove all your hair, just most of it...to go completely hair you'd have to get electrolysis to remove what was left
I've had the laser facial thing done a couple times; tightened the pores and made the skin look better. But I also had some laser hair removal done on the beard/neck line and that was great. I dont ever want a beard or 'sache, so decided to get as much of the chin/neck hair lasered as possible. Makes shaving much easier and faster, what with just the remaining hairs. Dark hair lasers out better than the ...well, dare I admit it....grey/white hairs! UGH! :worried:

I have had it done 3 or 4 times in the past 10 years for wrinkles around my eyes, works ok, I am 56 years old, still doing cycles.

there are huge differences in the TYPES of lasers as well... some require recovery, some do not... current laser treatments for rosacea for instance, do not require recovery, are only about $250 each and usually work within 4 treatments, and last indefinitely depending on how bad your condition is.

That sounds like it would hurt.
the last laser treatment I had it felt like a bee sting every time the laser zapped me. The doc did have a 'numbing cream' that is supposed to cut down on the stinging effect. its the price of vanity, though!
