Any luck with Anavar only

Has anyone had any good experience with just Anavar in a cycle. I was thinking about 40 mg/day for 5 weeks. Do you need PCT?
 
there are a lot of post on here about var only cycles. Most people (not all) report nice gains on what you mention although typically the cycles are longer. Keep your protein high and its synergistic with creatine as well. Understand that while its called the safest of the aas it destorys lipids and fast. its wise to use policosanol , vita e and c, r-ala(glucorell) fish and flax oils . In addtion a small dose of nolva (maybe 10mg) daily will help with the lipids. In general while it depends on the person the amount of var you are going to take shuts you down, some more than other....its is always wise to hve the nolva and hcg on hand. hope that helps some bro
 
Gained about 8lbs from a 35mg var only cycle I ran for 8 weeks.

Try it w/ creatine and make sure you use Tylers liver detox just to be safe since it is a 17aa

YES YOU DO NEED PCT! I learned this the hard way, was slightly shutdown at the end.

Always have some PCT on hand. Unless you're getting bloodwork done to rule out being shut down, I'd run a PCT just to be safe.

Var is a pricey little drug to do alone. I think it is more useful as an aid to other drugs. Is there a reason you want to do it by itself?
 
I'm on 30mg var/day for 3 weeks now with lots of creatine. I'm up about 10lbs with no bloat at all (from the creatine). I wear a 32" waist and my pants fit exactly the same today as 3 weeks ago. I'm also only lifting 2x per week but I do a lot of running, biking, and swimming...training for a triathlon. My strength is way up and I'm recovering from workouts very quickly. I did a hard 45min hill workout on the bike last night and felt so good today that I did hard speed work on the track this afternoon...couldn't believe my legs were up for it. I'm loving var...it's simple and I'm getting the results i wanted...lean gains, enhanced performance, no sides, and the gyno I had from last year is actually going away to top it off! I'm using the older 5mg BD tabs FYI. Plan to go 3 more weeks. You can check my progress here:My var thread

some may need it, others no. Some will like this cycle others not. Will mostly depend on your goal.
 
Popular to contrary belief, you don't need to run injects with orals. Anavar only yielded nice gains and a huge strength increase for me....will do it agian.
 
I've been running var @ 40mg/day for 8 weeks. Just finishing up and about to start clomid in a few days (yes you need PCT).

I used it while cutting, and I look a load better - but I think that was mostly down to my very clean diet. It probably helped to keep strength up (although I have to say that was largely diet too), but I didn't notice any major gains (a few minor ones but nothing that I couldn't have done without the var I don't think).

For the price I won't be doing it again, but a lot of bros on here have had good results with it, so it's probably worth a try to see how you respond if you have the spare cash.

Absolutely no side effects whatsoever while I was on it, so it's a pretty safe choice.

I don't think 5 weeks is long enough to be honest - for many people it doesn't even kick in until partway through the 3rd week.
