Any Ebayers use or know much about using a "sniper" to bid for you?

Are you bidding or selling?
When i bid on items, and then i didnt want it, id have an alternate account and i would bid more than my original account, I would win with the alternate account, then id just never pay for it.
When i was selling, and i wanted the prce to go higher than it was, id have an alternate account bid on the item and then it would get it up. but it seemed like it would always end up going up anyway whether i did that or not

That's kinda shitty. I think irighti just wants someone with 24/7 access who can swope down and bid at that last possible second.

I've never used a sniper, I just do it manually. I've never lost a bid. Ever.

Thanks Glad, I have read so many freakin sunglass sales I'm crosseyed. I never found the exact frame/ lens combo that I was looking for, so I sent a message to an Ebay Oakley dealer with exactly what I am wanting and asked him if he could just sell me the damn glasses. Polished Aluminum Radar Paths w/ ice blue iridium lens and a spare black iridium.... we'll see. I could always just go to the Oakley site and order them, but they're a little pricy at 220.00 for my 13 year old. He IS my retirement plan though, if his baseball career works out I'm golden, if not, I'll have to fall back on his grades wich is a 4.0 in 8th grade. He's made 2 B's in his long and distinguished educational career, but I like hedging my bets.....

4.0 in middle school? I had that too then got to HS and proceeded to fuck it up and only got accepted to Dumbfuck State U.
Obviously not saying your kid will do that but dont count your chickens until they hatch, be it baseball or school lol

NannyG, they're called Oakley Radar Path, the ones I'm looking for are polished aluminum frames. They have 8-10 different lenses that have different "light-blocking" properties, I'm wanting black iridum, ice blue iridium and possibly a baseball specific type lens, it's called VR28 (?) black iridium.... thnx

IDK, I made a 4.0 in middle school and continued the trend and made a 4.1 in HS. High School is a complete joke these days.

this is the closest, white chrome, it's pretty common, the polished aluminum isn't on here, that is one of the lenses though, ice blue iridum.. see that price? I'm hoping to get the exact ones I want for that, if not, I can get the one you see here for approx 80-90 dollars on Ebay... thanks

I don't feel like paying the 150-175 bucks for a pair of baseball sunglasses if I don't HAVE to! The black frames and the others are cheaper, but he wants those polished aluminum frames. I'm going to take him back to the Oakley store and see which len size fits his face best, Radars have 3 sizes, Range, Pitch and Path, Path being the smallest. I went right after Xmas and the selection was poor. I'll prolly just buy them retail and get what he wants, unfortunately.
Hell, bats are 250, glove was 200, cleats another 100, it just keeps getting more expensive every year. Not to mention the cost to be on the team and travel expenses for a weekend for 12 tournaments...
All this silly bullshite is why I have never bid on anything. If the "buy now" price isn't attractive I don't buy at all.

I'm not a big Ebayer, I've bought 12 things in about 5 years, mostly sports equiptment for my son. Equiptment changes year to year in youth sports, I guess so they can have something "new" for the season. When you find a size/style/ design that fits or you prticularly like, you can find it for several years after it first came out. I've bought bats that when they first came out were 175.00 and still found that same bat (but larger size) for 45.00 couple years later because it's "old" now. I bought my son a special edition glove designed by Rawlings w/Derick Jeter, they're hard to find, it's the size, web design, etc, anyway, they're hard to find and if you do the price is 200.00+. I bought one for 175.00, but the main thing was I GOT one.
Now I have to get these glasses.....

I'm sitting here LOLing. I wish you had a little girl! I can see her now, SO......FRICKEN........SPOILED!!! You could smell her from here. LMAO Walikng around in all her haute coture, D&G sunglasses at 6 years old. At 16, she'd be getting her nails and hair done by some gay guy (no offence) that charges 400.00 a cut just so people can say they got their hair done there. Showing up to her private school in her brand new Mabach. That's exactly what would happen w/o a doubt.
