I'm thinking about trying it (translation - d/l a video) for the stretching if you have to be a human pretzel to get into any position then fuggit.

i did it when the girl I dated did it. she'd give me personal sessions and we'd fuck in all kinds of yoga poses

as you get older it get's more important.........couple years ago, I'da laughed at the notion. But now......I'm looking for a class........I really need to start that kind of "loaded" stretching. Also.....I get to be in a class with, hopefully, good looking barefooted women putting their knees to their chests......... ;)

I don't know about you, but I'm only 29.....and my joints ain't acting like they're 18 anymore. Back isn't that great, really dampening my deads and squats.......

Only problem I've had is in flexing my back to get a nice arch on the bench. Haven't gone too downhill yet. I was just wondering the possible benefits of yoga over conventional stretching or what have you.

I think it's bullshit but I've been known to be wrong a few times.

i have a tip for you to teach your back to arch better when you bench if you want it.

Darling D_T,

I do yoga and I love it. I do it twice a week at a youga studio. It keeps me in shape and exercises every muscle of my body. I feel like I burn more calories than at some aerobics class sometimes. Besides, the meditation side of it has done wonders for my peace of mind.

Here in NYC there is a HOT NUDE YOGA group for men in shape. I can give you the calling card if you want to...

Seriously, try it - the first beginners session or even video will tell you if yoga is for you or not.

I like yoga. I feel like a million bucks after a class, and it's always loaded with chick broads. I should go more often.

nude yoga for men eh??.......well..........that's the :rainbow: 'est thing I've heard in quite some time. Do you guys take anything seriously? C'mon, I wouldn't want to be in a "serious" yoga class with nude females......cause I'de have wood the whole class and wouldn't get anything out of it......I mean, sure it would be nice to look in on a class like that, for sure..........but not to be in it. god damn...

I did yoga a little to check out the female talent. It was surprisingly "off". No chickas = plunkster not interested in going.

I'm sure there are some hottie yoga classes out there tho.

and no ... I don't take no fucking Yoga classes

there's other ways to get in touch with my feminine side

I just did a yoga class... the hot room shit is mental... AWESOME for flexibility, and injury prevention...

Both will work but the yoga positions also build balance and some strenght. Balance also declines as you get older if you don't work on it believe it or not.

As far as yoga being a fad I had a baseball caoch back in the 80's that had a yoga instructor come in twice a week to run us through a full on yoga session.

I would say yoga is well worth it.

I hear the heat yoga is reallllly awesome, I'd really like to try it.

I hear you just sweat and sweat and sweat and stretch and you just feel totally rejuvinated after.

Not surprised you're intrigued by Yoga :rainbow:

It does give you more energy. I have done a website and blog for a kundalini yoga guy and his wife, they give me a discount on classes. My sister does the one where you sweat your ass off in heated room, don't know about that.
Some people try to sexualize the kundalini form, but the real deal are people like in this video. http://youtube.com/watch?v=FQ8_-pLAXn0

Trust me, my yoga is instructor is straight888.
He is an old guy with a young, hot columbian wife, and I bet they do the
white tantric sting type sessions.
