Another UPS store fuck up!

OK fellas, not to add to the mirage of "how long do you wait for packages" thread but heres the story ...

1. Large order made ... paid ... shipped

2. Arrived with tracking #, later the day it arrived the meatbags @ the UPS
store accidentally returned it to the return addy ...

3. Dilemma ; return addy is fake, bullshit, junk etc . So the package is currently floating into no-man lands. Ive spoken with source/shipper and he will be in contact with Canada post regarding the "mix-up".

Now, considering the package still can be tracked do you guys think theres a chance of the package being tracked down by CP and re-claimed via the orignal sender @ a lost mail depot or something. Another orders already been made, but Im just wondering whether or not I should keep my hopes up at all.

i would just be on the lookout bro. since it has a tracking number they should just be able to get it back. put a note on the computer or something. how was it shipped? what service?

It was shipped via expresspost parcel I beleive. And yeah I beleive source will just be saying he has moved and hasnt updated his residential shipping address yada yada, please send to "blank".

I have had a similar situation happen although from the US to an addy in the US, and what happend was in the time I made my order I had a po box at the time, and as luck would have it the day the pack was shipped was the day my PO box expired, instead of being cool and giving me a notice it was expiring they sent it back to the fake return addy, my supplier got it back to me at an alternate addy, they have no reason to open up your pack based on no evidence as long as it was packed good you will get it back, and especially with UPS as their trk system is much better than USPS IMO...

UPS will probably fix it since you have a tracking #. Now if was USPS you might be screwed or get it back in about a year.

The tracking # was through Canada post unfortunatley ... UPS store was just being used as a suite for delivery. Therfore ... im probably in for a bit of a wait.

Hate to say this, and I'm sure I'll get Flak from it, but I NEVER use a Fake addy..... I just think if they got you, they got you, and a fake addy can only cause problems, like this one..... Not to mention that if you use a fake addy, they can book you for mail fraud, which is a felony in the US....
