Well I was just there yesterday (though I have been dozens of times, and about 10 times now since 9/11), and yes things have changed...but the risk was always there before...Its a risk vs. reward, and if someone knows what they are doing (and weighs those risks beforehand) then they know what they are possibly getting in to...

Is is worth it imo...Not really....but sometimes one can get desperate (and if they know how it goes down there the risks are minimized greatly...)

I have been making the voyage down south since the early 1990's, and I agree that it is worth the risk (to me). Things have changed drastically in recent years, and it is much more difficult (but not impossible). This tale should be a lesson to everyone - don't ever walk out of a pharmacy or granero holding anything!

I was down there the day before Thanksgiving. I found some great prices and even had the opportunity to discuss some new and upcoming products at my favorite granero. All things considered, it was a great trip
