another question--low carb days!

i have one more question...i was just wondering if anybody feels cranky when they lower their carbs for a few days. i was so grumpy today and i am usually a pretty happy person! everything was irritating me like crazy! :mad:

just curious to see how other people feel! :) thanks again!

I usually feel more energetic, and even have trouble sleeping (which W6 was common and suggested tryptophan).
 
If I'm taking in extra fat when I'm lowering my carbs, I'm all good, I don't get cranky. But if for some reason I don't get to eat when I'm suppose to, well, that my friend is a different story! Teresa, try taking in an extra tablespoon or so of flax oil or Udo's oil, that might help as well. You do take flax oil every day right?
 
You're probably cranky from hypoglycemia. Some people find that carb cycling leaves them feeling like ass run twice over on the low carb days, when they're used to a carb-based diet.

Extending the low carb period and allowing the body to adapt seems to be the only way to skirt this.
 
I remember those days.. when i ate nothing but protein and no carbs at all.. i was definitly bitching at everyone in sight...so just relax and take it easy... take lots of vitamins.. when ur not getting ur carb intake...
 
thanks everyone. actually, today i felt quite a bit better and more energetic.

and fyre, i don't take flax at night...i mix it in with my different meals but should i be taking it specifically at night?
