Another PW shake question

Ok so so far i've been taking Pro Recover post workout, it's 50g carbs from glucose and 25g protein from WPI and HWP with BCAAs and Adaptogens
It's good recovery wise but tastes damn awful and is expensive so i wanna make my own shakes

should i just get a good whey protein with BCAAs and mix in dextrose or can I use a creatine transport system?

is teh creatine transport system and whey a good idea?

Lol, you are never going to be happy man! :) Less than £20 and it lasts for nearly a month for me, you will do well to beat that assuming you you can get anywhere near the quality. And I like the taste of both flavours! Do I remember you where mixing it up far too think?

fatrat i train 5-6 days a week
and sometimes i train twice a day which means serious amounts of pro recover ;)

I went through a tub in a week and a bit once!

Splitting Protein and Carbs Post workout

it's know the reason to take hi gi carbs post workout is to replensih glycogen stores so that protein is spared right? I was told by someone, and this kinda makes sense to me that post workout you want to have a slight gap, say 10 minutes between taking carbs and proteins because if taken together straight after training, chances are that some of the protein is broken down into glycogen. Is this true or hogwash?
